Dex4 Fruit Punch Glucose Gel 15g Pouch, 6pk

My husband is an insulin-dependent, Type II diabetic. He can no longer tell when his blood sugar is getting too low. I first learned of this product from a paramedic who helped my husband when he lost consciousness due to low blood sugar. After a dextrose IV he regained consciousness, but his blood sugar was still low so they gave him a gel pack. I immediately ordered these from Amazon and we have needed them several times. They really work, and hubby likes the flavor.

I'm a Type 2 diabetic on Insulin and have the Dex4 Gel in my purse and everywhere in my home. Last 4 months, I had a lot of low blood sugars and this gel really helped very quickly to bring my blood sugar back up. My Dr has me on a little lower amount of Insulin before my light lunch meal so that took care of the low blood sugars but, I still keep buying the Gel just in case I don't eat enough at lunch. I highly recommend the packets of Dex 4 Glucose Gel.

These taste gross, but they totally pull your blood sugars up within a ten minute time span.

This is a great product for when your glucose gets low. I love the taste and it works fast. I used to rely on the chewable tablets, but IMHO these work fast and are easier to administer to someone who's blood sugar is low.

The taste is almost okay and when and your sugar is out of wack and when I need a little sugar to bring my numbers up these will work. I have to say I liked the little bottles better then this new packaging.

Works great and easy to carry on the go. I carry these on all outings with my wife as she gets low blood sugars. Easy to carry, easy to use, she likes the taste and they absorb quick. Easier than crunching tabs and they don't seem to cause her to spike awful like she does with some other stuff like candy.

gel consistency (not syrupy as some others are) -- we use for rescue with hyperinsulin-condition baby (draw up and put under tongue with oral medicine syringe), works quickly and easily. This has kept baby out of the hospital several times, and avoided glucagon injections! I wish it did not cost so much

I have been on insulin for over 56 years and when my blood sugar is low at night this really helps get my blood sugar up where it belongs ! A very useful item for diabetics !!
