Airxcel 9430-720 Bluetooth Ceiling Assembly - Cool Only

Easy installation, Perfect fit replacement. Bought this bluetooth for the convenience of being in bed and controlling from phone vs having to get up and adjusting temp manually. Primary reason I decided to replace is that I am using RV for work for a short time and didn’t want my a/c running all day. I could’ve installed a thermostat on wall but didn’t want to bother with all that. I looked up videos of installing and it only took me like 15 mins top. The addition of round vents are perfect for better air distribution.

If you dont like the fan being on all the time or not knowing what the temp is get this. Works perfect.

It was hooked up professionally. After 5 months thermostat just flashed on and off. Hooked up a wall thermostat and it worked perfect. Do not buy this.

This upgrade to your RV AC is a must! Finally I don't have to keep the AC running all night and I don't have to wire in a thermostat in order to make it work properly!.I highly recommend this mod to your RV AC.It takes intermediate knowledge to install but it's still easy enough for most people.

Ordered this for the ac in the rv bedroom because I didn’t like the fan running non stop on the original manual unit I knew ahead of time that the unit which cycle on and off a lot due to the fact that the AC unit is a 15k in a small bedroom. The Bluetooth feature is great and the fan shuts off when the compressor is not running which is my main reason for purchasing one thing that I did not think I would care about are the two adjustable vents on the bottom but let me tell you those are a real game changer. install a straight forward I have not had the unit very long but I am happy with the purchase.

This was a nice upgrade, but it did not come with the actual harness that I needed to convert my Dominic air conditioner to this one. You’d think the manufacturer would’ve supplied any necessary harness needed, which cost me an extra $200 on Amazon. So altogether this was about a $450-$500 upgrade to go to Bluetooth. But, it is nice to be able to have a go on and off on its own.

This item has horrible build quality when it comes to circuit board and power supply design. There is a 2 amp propietary 20 mm fuse on the edge of the board of the interior cap. The prongs to hold the fuse were broken off in shipping and the fuse and clips lost.If you know how to circuit trace you can sort it out in about a day.Also, the thermistor that determines room temperature is located in the path of the blower and on metal, therefore it reads lower than room temp. Consequently, to get 72 degrees the thermostat typically must be set around 65.

After some youtube research and basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, this upgrade is a much-needed addition to our RV. No longer will the fan run all night or guess the temperature settings. The Bluetooth app and feature are what rounds off this upgrade. All the effort and time involved (working alone) has been a great accomplishment too.
