Tealight Fuel Cells - 8 Hour - Disposable Liquid Paraffin - 24 Pack

I was hesitant to purchase this tea light based on several of the reviews which indicated the flame is not high enough, or it doesn’t fit, etc. I have to say that I am very pleased that I did purchase them. Keep in mind there are votive replacements, and tea light replacements. This is for the Tea light replacement. As shown in the picture, the flame is perfect height without adjustment, the size is perfect for my wax melt (which I also use as a tea warmer from time to time). What I like about these include the constant height of the flame, compared to traditional tea lights which get lower as they burn down. I’ve found in the first few that I’ve tried that the burn time is very consistent. Regarding the amount of light it emits - It’s a tea light. I wouldn’t change a thing. These aren’t used for the volumes of light. If you are looking for something to cast a brighter glow without electricity, I would suggest an oil lamp. Overall these are amazing replacements to traditional tea lights and I would highly recommend.

These come well packaged and each fuel cell has a little cap to prevent leakage. They fit a 2” votive holder, light and re-light easily. I keep the little cap to place over the wick for when it rains. They burn cleanly, no soot during burning or after blowing out, no wax residue in the votive holders. I love the long burn time; beats the hassle of constantly replacing wax tea lights. There is no waste with the fuel cells; many wax tea lights do not use all the wax during burn time and many will not relight after first use. In comparison to a wax tea light, the flame is a bit smaller, but enough light for tea light ambience. Flame height is constant.They are not refillable and the wicks cannot be replaced. Be aware that if they turn over, they will leak.Overall very pleased and will purchase again.

I bought these to place in lanturns I have in my patio area. I could never get them to burn a bright light, even after adjusting the wicks, and if even a gnat breathed on them, they would go out. They just didn't serve my purpose at all.

These last about 8hrs, depending on the draft in the room. I have been using this brand for about 4 or five years for holidays parties and dinners. I usually light 40 of them at a time and they all seems to die out about the same time. Really a great buy. I do wish these were refillable at this size and glass.

Bought the so-called 8 hour cells. Lit one and placed it on the counter. Lasted 3 hours and the thing was empty! Total rip off. I'm glad I checked because I need these for a party and I need them to last at least 6 hours. I'm furious to say the least.

I love these little candles! Great Performance. Be aware: I have to use needle nose pliers to pull the cap off the candle and then use them to pull the wick up on every single fuel cell. The factory positioning of the wicks is very low and will just barely flicker if it isn't pulled up. ALSO IT MUST BE PULLED OUT BEFORE LIGHTING IT TO BEGIN WITH. Otherwise the wick splits and ruins the whole deal. After you figure out what height you like the flame it's easy from there.

Have to be careful with these as i almost spilled one by accident. Wick can not be replaced nor can it be refilled but are great replacement for wax tealight candles. These are beautiful at night and last for such a long time. They burn so clean and there isn't any black smoke unlike traditional candles. They give good light and i like to keep some around the house or use for special events.

If you use tea lights - we use them in table top food warmers etc. as well as decoratively - you will find these are better. No wax to drip. Long lasting. I'm hoping that when they are empty I can drill a small hole in the metal rim around the wick and refill them. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but they are so much nicer and easier to use.
