If you can attach it to your bed or spoilboard and have enough z clearance, then I don’t see why not.

What grade of aluminum is this made of?

It feels like pretty cheap cast aluminum. I will say that this is not very good as a machining vise and more like a drill press vise. I was overall not happy with the way this vise works and feels.

Where can I get more screws from for that particular vise?
