Great little pencil!
Ever since the late 80's when both L'Oreal and Lancome (same company) had a powder pencil, I have looked for something like it! This is more creamy than those were and quite long-lasting without bleeding. So far, so good but it is expensive. It is not a risky buy.

Sheer, shimmery
I am intrigued by Pippa of London Magic Star Eyeshadow Powder Pencil. It's not quite what I expected, but I like it. Usually a pencil shadow feels like a cream. However, this really DOES feel like a powder--it's texture seems a bit chalky, but not in an unpleasant way. When I applied it on my right eye, I ended up with an even coating of sheer glittering pigment. It does not look adolescent, however; it's definitely something that I would wear (as a woman "of a certain age"--not too old, not too young). I wetted it down just a bit--because you CAN applied it wet--on my left eye, and lined the upper lid (hopefully you can tell in the photo that the two eyes are done slightly differently). The pencil did show up as a darker, more pigmented line when it was dampened. Here's the reason I gave this pencil four stars instead of five, because I actually quite like this product: the description claims that it's a "creamy, velvety shadow", and it's NOT. It is definitely something different. I think it feels interesting and different from other pencil shadows that I've used. Creamy and velvety are definitely words that I would NOT use to describe this product. I would, however, say that it looks great. However, application might take a little bit of practice. The pencil apparently looks best on people with oily lids. Um, where does that leave those of us with dry skin? These are small complaints. I like this pencil. I will buy more of them, because the sheer, subtle color is lovely.I also tried to use this as a liner (not in my waterline!), but found that under my eye, there was rather a lot of glittery fallout, so be warned. I thought it looked better as a shadow. With all that being said, this shadow does lend itself beautifully to the holiday season, as a shimmery accent to my eyes. Highly recommended.

Hard-to-Find Powder Eyeshadow Stick
A rare and welcome find. Nearly all eyeshadow sticks today ... versus in the '80s and '90s ... are creamy. I'm a fan of the old days when they came in powder form from practically all the major cosmetics players. For some reason, Pippa of London has reintroduced them and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm ordering them in every color!

Quality and value
I am always skeptical about buying cosmetics online because you never know and can’t see the quality. I was happy with the quality of this item.

Good but not great
This product was kind of a mixed bag for me. In the end, I liked it more than I didn't. But it's not perfect. What I liked:* Super convenient stick format is great for just throwing in a purse for quick touch ups.* Glides on really easily. It looks like it might be chalky, but it's quite creamy.* Blends well with brushes or a finger.* REALLY handy for a bit of color under the eye. I normally use palette shadow and a tiny brush for this purpose and this was much faster, easier and longer-lasting.* Didn't irritate my eyes at all. I have really sensitive eyes and I wear contacts, so I have to be really careful with my eye makeup product choices. No problems with this one.* Color looks nice with green eyes! What I didn't like quite so much:* Definitely shimmery. As an all-over shadow, matte would be a better option.* I didn't love the all-over, one-color look, so I still had to dig out brushes and other shadows. I guess if I had more than just the one color, this wouldn't be the case.* Longevity was kind of an issue for me. I used a good primer underneath and even that couldn't stop this product from rubbing off in my crease, due to friction from blinking. So after a few hours, it was kind of a weird look -- shadow everywhere except the creases, which were almost bare. I ended up reapplying it in my creases at least two times throughout the day.So, for me, I would say this was a good product, but not a great one.

A Beautiful Pale Pink With A Great Texture
Color: Chalfont 303Eyeshadows that are in a pencil form are a little odd to me. I've used them before, but tend to find them to be a bit of a drag to use... pun intended. This one isn't like that. It slides across the skin easily without pulling on the eyelids. It did take me a few swipes to get the hang of how best to use this, but it was easy once I got the feel for the texture and how this works best. The color is a gorgeous pale shimmery pink. Because it is so close to my natural skin color, I have to be careful not to go crazy and apply too much. Because it is very close to my natural coloring, that is one of the things that I really like about this. It's easy to wear by itself during the day, or as a highlighter with other shades. By itself, it almost appears as though I have a natural shimmer. It is a slight bit different than my own color, but it works very well.Sharpening this pencil can be tricky. I have to be extra careful not to twist too much because the actual shadow is kind of soft and can too easily be sharpened away. Best to only do very small twists and keep checking until you are just about there. Don't take it too far or you may very well lose your point. The only thing that I do not like is the high price. It's a very nice pencil, but I would have second thoughts about paying this much for this pencil.

Not an all day wear
Fantastic color, I love the color. Easy to apply but it doesn't last long and it creases within just a few hours.

Beautiful colour, so easy to put on
Absolutely love it, makes for quick eye liner and very smudgeable for a smokey look. Got the deep purple and it's a nice change from wearing a black or brown on my lid. Definitely buying other colors.

Excelente calidad y magnificos resultados
