OMG these are sooo good. Although I write a lot of reviews on Amazon Products, I DO NOT GET PAID for any of them. Some I get free through their Vine program but a great many I actually purchase. You also know I have no problem fairly reviewing them whether they were obtained from the Vine Program or I purchased them. This is a product I purchased, and I am so glad I did. Because of a medical condition I am big Carbohydrate/Calorie and protein counter of the things I eat. I am always looking for a good protein to Carb ratio, but it has to taste good or why bother. They guarantee (and I agree) one bite and you will be hooked. The taste of the hot gooey muffin right out of the microwave will get you. Of course, besides the taste, as I mentioned earlier my health is big concern. So, for me the 25 grams of protein is big winner (but it is taste that will really hook you). The 7 net carbs (37 actual carbs) is also real winner. The protein and all other ingredients are also high quality (see image of ingredients) . The speed of cooking and their ease of use also puts them at the top of my list. Now you may find similar items cheaper but check their protein count (all < 25 grams) so these muffins show real value for your money. They are also extremely versatile. You can use water or milk to make them in the microwave (which gives you a slightly different taste and consistency). You can make them up into pancakes or bake with them. For this review I purchased the Chocolate Peanut Butter and I only wish the Peanut Butter Flavor came through more. My next choice will be the Birthday Cake for sure. Once I do, I will add them to this review.

Love, love, love, ABSOLUTELY love these Bootylicious double chocolate protein muffin cups. This brand and specifically this flavor are packed with the most protein and taste the most delicious, in my humble opinion. They’re even better with some sugar-free chocolate chips, whipped cream, and berries on top. Easy to make when running short on time and on-the-go! Excellent quality, fill you up, and are a great way to help meet protein goals. They are a tad expensive but are most definitely worth the cost. They have helped me tremendously along my health journey, and I can’t recommend them enough!!

If you want protein and you think you are buying a muffin, you will be disappointed. You get 25g of protein, which is awesome, but the muffin part is debatable at its best. Better to think you are getting “some kind of unspecified baked good”, that way you don’t set yourself for disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy to get 25g of vegetable protein at breakfast, and the product is not terrible, but it’s just, definitely, not a muffin. It does not taste like a muffin, it does not have the texture and consistency of a muffin. I have spread some jam on top, I have added some walnuts and fresh blueberry to the dough, I have eaten it topped with pear slices. It helps. So, I’m 1/2 happy, 1/2 not so happy with the product. Had I not been expecting a “muffin” I would have been happy. So, if you are looking for a good product that delivers a significant amount of protein, this is a great buy. If you want your protein AND a delicious muffin, you may be disappointed, but it will depend on your personal definition of what a muffin should taste like, of course. All that being said, I must add that I will buy this product again.

I wrote a very negative review (see below) when I first tried these. And now I am back with an update: About 8 months ago I went to a high-protein, very-low-carb diet after bariatric surgery. Knowing my propensity for craving baked sweets, I ordered these muffins. And initially I was very disappointed. I gave some of them away and left a few sitting on my shelf, just in case. Then I learned a BIG LESSON in law-carb eating: What nobody had bothered to tell me is that while your body and taste buds adapt to your new low/no sugar lifestyle, almost EVERYTHING you try to replace your original loves with will taste yucky. And these were no exception. Then... Last week I was looking for something to kill my evening snack carb cravings and decided "What the hell, better than wasting them" and grabbed one off my shelf. Damn!! I was sooo very happy that I'd kept some for myself. Immediately my cravings were crushed and my taste buds were more than happy. EVERY flavor I had left is now gone and I am ordering more. I apologize to BOOTYLICIOUS for the negative review before. It was undeserved. I am so thankful that I have a reason and opportunity to correct it. *** ORIGINAL 0 STAR REVIEW:*** I've gotten used to things not always looking like the pictures despite proper care and preparation. And I know that products adjusted toward the Keto guidelines rarely taste like the original. But this disappointment goes waaaaay beyond those factors. First one I prepared was the Cinnamon Roll. I carefully measured the 1/4 cup of water, stirred well and watched it like a hawk while it was in the microwave. Well, watching it cook wasn't too easy... While the photos show puffy goodness overcoming the sides of the container, seeing the food from outside the microwave was impossible because the final product comes nowhere near the top of the container. I had to repeatedly stop the microwave to check progress with a toothpick. Overcoming the disappointment over the size/amount/appearance of the final product, the aroma was very inviting. My mouth was watering with anticipation. I sooooo very much wanted the taste to match the aroma. But once again I was disappointed. In my first bite I encountered an odd, almost-eggy texture that offered a strange mouth feel making me uncertain if it was too moist or too dry. And the flavor... very much too minimal. Just not enough flavor-induced satisfaction and joy to overcome the odd texture. The extracts and spices need to be multiplied at least 10 fold. Unfortunately, as I've continued in an effort to try each flavor in the box and assess them individually, I've been met with virtually the same experience each time. I've even tried using a teaspoon more or less of water, bottled water vs tap water, different microwaves etc. None of these actions positively altered the end result. Same strange texture. Same lack of flavor. Maybe I should've tried the more-expensive "Bear" brand muffins instead. Instead I chose to support small business and liked what I read about the offerings. Sorry, I won't be reordering and certainly can't recommend.

These bootylicious muffins are AMAZING! The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is I do believe they are a little pricey. I always struggle hitting my protein goals and I have an epicly troubling sweet tooth so these muffins helped me with both problems. First, note that they are protein muffins so they are going to have the dry protein taste but I expected that. Pro Tip: I actually added a little bit of milk to soften them a little bit.
