When removed from the bag, it's a smallish flat circle. Pull off the black elastic band that holds it together. It will pop into a large flat circle. Pull apart the two white connectors and they become the 4 tent "feet." Spread the tent out taut and stake down. Tie top to built-in crossbars and attach rainfly. To fold up, remove rainfly & stakes, untie top from crossbar, and flip tent upside down. Connect the white connectors by pushing a small connector into the larger connector (diagonal to one another). Now you have your large flat circle. Grasp the cylinder on each side (with connectors at the bottom) and push together. It will flip into a figure 8. Now the hard part - with one arm holding the bottom of the 8 flat against your body use your other arm to push to top of the 8 down to fold it in half against the bottom of the 8. It will seem like it doesn't want to go, but it will. If the connectors pop off, they are easily put back on. Firmly holding the small circle by the rim so it won't pop open, find the black elastic band which is sewn to the edge and slide it over the circle to hold it all in place. Stuff the excess fabric inside the edges to make a neater circle and put back into the storage bag. Wrap the tent stakes in the rainfly and put them in the bag.
