I have to say that I am quite surprised by how high quality the case cover feels - it's much better than I expected! It has a good heft to it compared to the round plastic cover that originally comes with the F54 key. Not sure exactly what others had problems with in terms of it coming off of the key as mine locks in nicely. I think the plastic back cover's plastic legs are critical to locking the key cover on so if they're damaged, there isn't anything to lock it on so maybe that's the problem but it's using the same locking points as the original key.It's nice to not have the large body of the original key in my pocket as it was just awkwardly shaped to begin with. I would absolutely buy another one of these in the future if I needed to!

The metal fob shell looks OEM to me. Heavy, sturdy, fits perfectly, ages well. It should be the stock configuration instead of the incessant circle motif. We get it, you love your old rally roots and so circles - but why do I need to suffer with giant boring circle made of cheap hollow plastic and 3 tiny buttons on it?! Waste of space, waste of material, just make it nice. Thats what this product does. Makes it a really nice fob, like it should have been.

This key fob modification is wonderful. It was slightly difficult to get the back of the key off without damaging it, which is in no way the fault of this item. After removing the back of the key fob, the original circular style plastic comes off easily and the new fob slips right on. It feels so much higher quality than the OEM fob. It fits much more comfortably in pockets too. Absolutely getting one for my second key.

Totally expected plastic like a different one I received but it is metal and very sturdy. Love it and it slims down the original mini fob as I place my fob in my pocket.

I assumed the fob cover would be plastic, but surprised to find it a fairly solid feeling metal. design printing is flawless and it gives the key a little heft that I like. If you want your key as light as possible this might be a downside, but I do like it.Only complaint is the long shipping time, but it was within the time promised for delivery so it's fair.

The media could not be loaded.  This is fantastic! It looks great and adds a nice heft to the key and makes it feel very premium as it should have from the factory. Absolutely love it, even came with a little screwdriver to pop the back of the key open.

Awesome! Distinctive! My Mini fob is now envy of everyone! Bought two of these with Union Jack theme—one in color, the other in B&W. Many Mini owners agree the form factor of the current fob concept across the fleet, going back a half decade plus at least, is too big. This product, and others like it, are exactly what Mini should have used for the OEM fob. Buy it!!!

First off, it fits perfectly. It seems like it was built by Mini (BMW) because the quality is so good. The replacement shell is obviously a lot smaller but it also weighs more. It is like a weighted shift knob. It definitely feels more substantial and I really like it better than the stock one.

Nice solid piece of metal, this would of received a 5 star but it came chipped and it has chipped again twice more since I bought it, the paint will just end up flaking off, also the red is a dull red and looks nothing like the red of an original JCW key ring

Product is not durable, paint started to chips moments after putting it on and laying down on table. Also didn't fit the key and still doesn't properly fit at the top of key. Really wished I hadn't wasted my money on it. It's not long last at all

Fits great and nice and heavy.. problem is the paint quality, literally chips at every bump.. wouldn’t buy again

JCW cover... it was a dull brown colour instead of the bright chilli red. Very disappointed, item was returned for a refund.
