I bought the Flight Miniatures Boeing Demo (04-Cur) 777-200 1:200 Scale model for my 11-year-old son (he's wanted to be a pilot his whole life), and while it’s a cool piece, it didn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped. The plastic snap-fit design is detailed, with accurate Boeing Demo livery and nice curves that make it a standout on his desk. It’s perfect for aviation fans like him, and the 12.5-inch length and wingspan look sleek for a desk display. But here’s the bummer: he accidentally knocked it off his desk (4 feet high), and it broke apart on impact. The base snapped, and the fuselage cracked, which was disappointing for a model touted for “unmatched craftsmanship” and “durability.” For a collectible that’s not meant to be a toy, I expected it to survive a minor fall. It’s still a sharp-looking piece for the price, but handle it with kid gloves—it’s not as sturdy as it seems. At least the Gorilla glue saved the day for him.
