I've had this hair towel for a few months now and use it every three days when I wash my hair. I've had two other hair towels designed for long hair and they would not hold in place on my head or come close to holding all of my hair. My hair is abundant, thick, and reaches my waist. While my hair is longer than this towel, due to its scooped designed at the end I am able to simply stuff it all in there, twist it, and secure it. It stays for as long as I leave it which is great since I usually like to leave it up while I do facial things for roughly 20-30 minutes. I find that it absorbs well -- very well, actually. Unfortunately, I noticed recently that the elastic band that secures the twist of the hair in the towel has started to detach from the towel. I'm sure it has some life in it still, but it would be nice if the stitching were perhaps reinforced. It's for that reason I rated the stretch quality to be low -- the towel itself doesn't and shouldn't stretch. I will keep using this until the elastic band becomes detached and will likely repurchase this product to replace it. It works better than any other hair towel I've had, so I don't have an issue with buying a replacement.

I love this thing! My hair goes down to my hips so it is so hard to find a towel that is actually long enough to hold all of my hair. This thing works perfectly! I wouldn't say it's any more absorbent than a regular towel, which some of the reviews seemed surprised about for some reason. I have one of those microfiber hair towels too, which always feels soaking wet when I take it off, but my hair doesn't feel any dryer than with this one. The little microfiber one always slides off, but this one actually stays on my head while I walk around getting ready in the morning. Great purchase, will be buying one for my daughter too. 2 years later - my daughter used and somehow managed to tear the elastic loop off so now I have to use a hair clip to keep my hair wrapped in the towel. So I bought a new one, and it doesn't seem to be of the same quality as what I bought in 2020. I washed it and it already has a hole in the seam, without ever even using it. The stitching looked much looser than my old one. Customer Service was great and sent me a replacement, and this one is fine.

I had a smaller microfiber hair towel and wasn't ever impressed by it. Didn't absorb much and my long hair didn't fit in it well. This is such an improvement!! Easy to use, no gnarly microfiber feel, and all my hair fits with room to spare! Wish it had a loop & button fastener instead of just an elastic band... it'll probably get stretched out long before the rest of the towel is worn out.

This particular hair towel wrap is by far the best one I have found to-date. Most towel wraps are microfiber which does absolutely nothing to dry your hair, waste of money. This wrap is cotton which is a must for absorbance. The wrap is a great size if you have a lot of hair. For the most part it does absorb the water, if it was a bit thicker, it would be a 5-star. Most towel wraps I have found are very thin which is a big part of the absorption problem. The best attribute, no button on the back of the wrap. Instead, you'll find a large firm elastic loop on the back to pull the end of the wrap thru which secures it on your head. Overall, very satisfy with this purchase.

I have mid back length very thick, coarse hair. I "outgrew" twistytowels a long time ago and would have several inches of dripping hair hanging out of my "turban". FINALLY someone made one of these for women (and men) with tons of hair. It's not microfiber which is the only thing I don't really like. It's thick terrycloth, weighs a ton with my wet hair in it, and I don't think the cotton type is quiet as absorbent as the microfiber towels. Still, it holds all my hair and that's the most important thing. They also have a very substantial elastic loop which holds the tucked in towel very well.
