This is rated at IP 55 not at IP 65 as advertised by Amazon, hence has to keep in a outdoor shade or in a water proof box

Much easier to wire up than competitors machines!

Excellent product for garden lighting circuits. Easy to instal, linking remote with unit quite fiddly, remote poor, replaced battery straightaway wouldn’t operate then found connection for battery not making. Once sorted works fine. Price comparable with anywhere else.

This is the second unit I have received as the first did not work. The front locking screws in the second unit were done up so tight one broke and another got chewed up trying to undo it. Amazon have been really good in replacing these items with next day delivery.

This is just what I have been looking for to get three separate circuits around the garden and pond. everything is straightforward, although the gland sizes seem a little on the big size? I will need reducers there, but for everything else all seems good. The cabinet itself could be more robust, the plastic does feel brittle and it needs mounting somewhere it won't get any hard bashes, but it is IP55 rated so it can't be that bad. I am very curious why the manufacturer hasn't extolled the virtues of the App that is available on the "smartwares "site, It enhances the use of the remote facilities making it even more accessible and useful. I have had a problem with a comparable price since this type of box with its controls is as rare as hens teeth, but what I have found is more expensive making this a bargain too! First things first, this item claims it is IP55 - not even close.When I first opened the unit to check it out I found that there was no gasket sitting in the groove of the lid, this is unusual for an external IP rated unit.Before I committed to the install I decided to remove the electronics and sit it upright on the patio, as it would be mounted, then I splashed it with the hose set on 'rain' - not a direct jet and for less than 20 seconds.To make it as fair as I could I then dried the outside before opening the cover.As you can see from the photo there is water inside.From this alone I cannot recommend this product, if this was fitted, wired up and made live it could have easily caused an accident.If you are going to take the risk and buy it at least check for a gasket, if there isn't one then return it immediately as it will leak.

Ho ralizzato un impianto luci nella terrazza di casa mia, due linee una alta e una bassa e avevo bisogno di un centralino che le facesse accendere separatamente o insieme con un telecomando . Il kit funziona perfettamente , è installato all'aperto e finora non ha dato nessun problema.

wer hier meckert , hat wohl Fehler gemacht ! Sie funktioniert einwandfrei und auch über eine weite Entfernung .Wer natürlich eine Betonwand dazwischen macht ........ Einfach auch Idioten sicher anzuschließen und zu programmieren , steht ja alles ganz genau dran und auch in der Anleitung .Genau das , was wir für den Garten gesucht haben .
