Cute, but wreaks of privilege
Cameron is definitely funny here and there and down to earth, but this book is not worth the money. Unless you want to read exclusively about what it's like to be rich and pregnant, you will find this to be pretty dull. I actually skipped most chapters in the last half of the book except the only one about her time on Southern Charm. About 95% of the book is about the typical aspects of motherhood that every woman goes through- her situation isn't any worse. If anything, she has privilege that 99% of us do not have. The difference here is that Cameron doesn't have to work, has no financial worries and has one child to take care of, and she just cannot believe how hard her life is. The fact that this book even exists is very cringe-y to me. Don't waste your money.

If you watched Southern Charm, or follow Cam on social media, this will all feel like deja vu.It might be a decent gift for someone who has never heard of her and is terrified to become a mom. Cam's honestly is refreshing and helpful.

BORING-MOTHERHOOD IS HARD-WOW WHO KNEW?
DO NOT BOTHER PURCHASING THIS BOOK! ITS TRITE AND FULL OF PLATITUDES. YES, CAMERON, MOTHERHOOD IS HARD. WE ALL KNOW THAT! SHE SHARES VERY LITTLE ABOUT HER PERSONAL LIFE. SHE APPARENTLY WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE, BUT NO MENTION OF NAMES. THIS IS LIKE READING AN MAGAZINE ARTICLE ON HER. NO INSIGHT, NO PERSONAL DETAILS, EXCEPT THAT SHE LEAVES HER CHILD AT HOME AND DRIVES AROUND PLAYING RAP MUSIC. -A WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BOTHER. SORRY, THAT I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE! THESE SOUTHERN CHARM PEOPLE ARE LOW BROW AND BORING . ZERO STARS

This book was ok. It had every detail of her pregnancy and post pregnancy. A pregnancy tell all for a person who wasn't sure she wanted kids. I was hoping there would have been more info about her friendships with different cast members because she has such a range in age of friends that are such an interesting part her world. But this book just went pregnancy delivery breastfeeding stay at home mom the end.

Not worth the time to read if you’ve watched the show
I was really exited to read this book because I thought Cam was a role model and down to earth... she still is but this book is not for everyone. It about motherhood mostly and her opinion. It was a struggle to fishing reading and I wish I could get my money back.

Cameron is the queen of first world problems.
Why did she have a child? All she does is complain about motherhood. This book has zero substance unless you are looking for a reason to not have a child.

Should just be titled Essays about Pregnancy and Motherhood
I have never been so disappointed with a book. It is titled One Day You Will Thank Me: Essays on Dating, Motherhood and Everything In Between. The “dating and in between” is less than 40 pages of the book. I love Cameran and was so excited to hear her advice. If you are pregnant or wanting to know how pregnancy and having a child is, then you will probably love this book. If you are a fan and want more of an inside to Cameran be prepared for 40 pages of the Cameran we know and love and 140 pages on her pregnancy and being a mother.I wanted her quick wit and southern stories with a behind the scenes look at everything and that is definitely not what this book is, so I will be returning it.

Cameron hits it out of the park!
Such a fun book! I pre-ordered this back in early November but ended up also purchasing the audiobook. There is something special about getting witty, honest advice and support from Cameron's sweet Southern voice! She is honest, real, and I felt like it was advice coming from a good friend. I am married with 4 children but even I had takeaways and advice that would have helped me earlier in my life. Sometimes reality TV or celebrities write books just to write books but this one is special and the content is sound.
