best quality kibble at this price point, esp with 10 cats
there are only a handful of dry kibble brands that don't add pea protein, meat byproducts, and various other sketchy fillers, and this is the most affordable. my cats all love this kibble but will still eat their freeze dried raw when it's available, so it seems to have less of the addictive quality that so many commercial cat foods have. their fur is smooth and soft and shiny, nobody ever gets sick and throws up, and they don't beg for food in the middle of the day.kibble in general is hard on cats' kidneys, as they evolved in dry climates where they get most of their moisture from their prey and don't have a high thirst drive, but i can make their freeze dried raw last SO much longer when i mix this into it.Please don't ever sell out to a big corporation!

#1 kibble in my household
This is the only cable my cats love I’ve been using Dr. Elsie‘s clean protein for about three years or so, and it has been a staple in my household my cats love the taste, the kibble size is small .I also love that it is high in animal protein. it doesn’t have plant base ingredients like other kibble from other. They love all the flavors, but I think their favorite is the turkey and rabbit which tends to be the most expensive ones but honestly it’s worth it. Their fur is shiny and soft and they just seem healthier on it. I don’t just feed them kibble their diet consist of wet food, some kibble, different toppers, pate, shredded meat.

Picky Eater Eats It!
Bella is liking the change! She has some food allergies and Dr Elsey's food products don't seem to cause Bella problems. She was getting bored with the previous flavors so when I tried the Rabbit she has interest again!

Best Cat Health
My Cat loves the Rabbit/Chicken Blend! He is older (12+) and he is very finicky with Kidney failure. Unlike wet food there are no excessive smells at the front or back end. Unlike dry foods with heavy grains he is able to digest this food without vomiting. Note: he does get subcutaneous fluids regularly. Good Luck and take care of our furry friends. P.

My tabby cat had a pretty bad allergic reaction
I gave Simba this food just a little bit at a time mixed with his regular food. After a few days, he started really clawing at his face, specifically - above his eyebrows. Then we started noticing significant blood scabs where he was scratching and then the fur fell out over his eyes. We figured it may be an allegeric reaction to the new food because nothing else had changed in his environment. With some topical medicine and no more of this food, the scabs have cleared up and the fur is starting to grow back. It may just be something weird with my cat, but I was very surprised because of the cost and advertised quality of this food. Which again, I recognize may have just been something weird going on with my cat.

Diabetic cat is doing fine on this as a supplemental dry food
I know nobody is going to see my review out of over a thousand, but I wanted to let you know my elderly cat likes this dry food very much. He is mostly on wet food due to his diabetes, but a little bit of kibble each day helps clean his teeth and this dry food is of high quality and high protein. After seeing the ingredients in the run of the mill cat food from the grocery store, I was horrified. I wish I had known then what I know now.
