I loved reading this book and stugled to put it down. Lots of really good stories all through the book to illustrate the messages he is trying to get across. The book really puts in perspective what we are doing to the planet and how we are mistreating the farmers who are trying to make a livingDefinitely recommend this book to anyone, the story with the tractor and the trees is worth it alone!

If you are looking for some solid advice based on experience and success this is a must have book for anyone contemplating making a good living from the land.

Joel Salatin is not only a great farmer, but a great communicator. This was the first book of JS that my husband and I have read and now we have all of his books. We have even been motivated to raise chickens - Salatin way.
