This is a beautiful high-quality griddle and so easy to use. Cleans easily, as the center just pops right out, and I use a little brush with dish detergent built in. Scrub-a-dub, and voila, you have a clean griddle! A little wipe on the outside and I put it away for next time. It heats evenly, the size is great, and it's a great value for what I paid. I use non-stick spray just in case, and haven't tried it without, so can't speak to that. As a teacher, I've hauled it to school for pancake day, and it worked great non-stop for about an hour, feeding a crowd. I highly recommend this griddle!

I love, love, love this! Makes cooking breakfast so much easier. Hubby likes it too. I recently bought a second one for my son. Great for burgers, fajitas, grilled cheese, quesadillas, vegetables, steaks, etc. Clean up is easy.

I love the color of the one I got. The size is perfect for our big family. Cooked pancakes and bacon without anything sticking. The plate heats up quickly and easy to use. The best part is my old griddle one side was always hotter but this one isn’t like that and the entire plate is equally hot. The plate has the normal feel of a griddle which I love most of the griddles now are just flat with no texture. Also the plate has two draining areas to lead to the grease catcher which is so nice and makes it so much easier to clean up without needing something placed underneath. Absolutely a great buy and great quality. You can put the plate in the dishwasher but the holding area isn’t dishwasher safe which is fine because not much gets on it. My husband absolutely loves it as well.

Dash electric griddle review. 20" model.I've been using this for a few months so far. Primarily cooking pancakes. The nonstick surface works very well. I haven't had to use additional butter or oils or sprays. The temperature of the surface seems very consistent across the whole griddle, so everything cooks nice and evenly.When making sausage patties or burgers, the grease travels to the drain cup very easily, as it should. Although I wouldn't have minded a larger grease container as this one can fill up if you are making multiple burgers.My favorite part is that the griddle fully detaches so you can wash it in the sink very easily. It states that the griddle is dishwasher safe, but I'm hesitant to test that.The base is sturdy. And super easy to clean. As is the grease trap cup.The power cord wipes up easily and the numbers on the dial are embossed, not painted, so they won't wipe off leaving you wondering just what setting you are on. But there isn't anywhere to conveniently store the power cord.I knocked a star off for the smallish grease trap and lack of cord storage.Hands down the best portable griddle I can remember using, would definitely buy again but perhaps a larger model of available.

Worked like a charm! Heated up quickly, heat seemed fairly even. Clean up was a breeze. The drip tray is a good size holds roughly 3/4 cup of liquid. The best part, I was able to take it outside, plug it in and cook a pound of bacon in just a few minutes and now my home won’t smell like bacon grease for the next 2 days. It is a good size and absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend especially if you don’t want to cook certain foods inside.

Been looking at this griddle for a while and finally saw it for a good price. This is the "deluxe" model so the cooking surface can be lifted off with handles for cleaning. As you can see in the photo, it holds an entire pound of sliced bacon. I read a review that the underside, which also gets very hot from the heating element underneath, cracked the reviewer's quartz countertop. Since we also have quartz counters, I placed it onto our clean glass range top and it did fine. Made shredded hash browns, a cheese omelet and as you can see, it holds an entire pound of sliced bacon. Our range top very slightly tilts toward the back, so the bacon grease needed a little encouragement to move to the front drain groove. But once it got started, it ran through very well. Next time I'll turn it around so the drain's on the back. After the bacon finished frying, I turned it off and gently scraped the surface with a silicone spatula, pulling all the remaining melted fat and crumbs to the drain. Worked like a charm. According to Dash, the basic model's grill surface doesn't detach for washing, so I'm glad I ordered the deluxe. It washes easily in a sink under running water with a soapy sponge. (No need to fill up the dishwasher because it's rather big for that.) I've seen this for sale for $70, but I got it on a pre-Christmas sale for $40 and feel I got a great bargain. Thanks Dash! This is the 3rd of their products I've bought, been happy with all of them, and use them frequently. Recommended.

This Dash griddle is the best one we have ever purchased, and we have purchased many of them! For years, we used griddles with uneven heating that have discolored very quickly because they were all we could afford. The Dash griddle is reasonably priced, large enough to hold a good amount of food, cooks evenly, and cleans like a dream! The removable griddle tray just lifts out for easy cleaning, leaving the griddle stand open for removal of any crumbs or spills. My husband and I have finally found a griddle that we love!
