Exceptional Quality and Finish
I recently tried out ERYONE Matte PLA Filament for my 3D printing projects, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:Matte Finish: The matte finish of this PLA filament is stunning. It adds a sophisticated, professional touch to prints, reducing glare and giving a unique, high-quality look. It’s perfect for prints where a glossy finish isn’t desired.Smooth Printing Experience: This filament is a joy to work with. It flows smoothly through the extruder with minimal clogging or tangling issues. The consistent diameter ensures even extrusion and reduces the risk of printing problems.Excellent Layer Adhesion: The adhesion between layers is impressive, resulting in strong, durable prints. This is particularly useful for functional parts that need to withstand stress and wear.Low Odor: During printing, the filament produces very little odor, which makes it more comfortable to use in indoor settings without requiring additional ventilation.Versatile: It’s compatible with a wide range of 3D printers and performs well at standard PLA printing temperatures. It’s also forgiving of slight variations in temperature settings, which makes it user-friendly for both beginners and experienced users.

Takes some tuning, but a rich color that prints well
Printed very well once fully dried otherwise it had a tendency to string. Layer adhesion between walls seemed fine, but even then sometimes floor layers could peel off with the brim; may just have needed higher temps or less cooling to fully dial it in. Produced very consistent external surfaces. The 'Ruby Red' is more accurately a dark red oxide primer color that matches the product imagery nicely.

Burnt Orange and Teal; Mustard and Blue
This review is for the Burnt Orange and Teal Dual Matte filament. And the Mustard and Blue dual matte. I have been wanting to get these since I saw it on the Eryone website but it wasn't available in the U.S for some time. First the burnt orange and teal. This color may look like regular blue/red dual matte at first but its a bit different. The blue is a dark turquoise and the orange is a rusty orange-red color. These are really complimentary. I did put the filament in a dryer right out of the box so I cant say for sure if it will need dried, but as a rule I find most mattes need a little drying. When I printed I did not see any excessive stringing or bubble pits from moisture. I printed at 65 initial bed then 60. And 210 initial layer and then 205. I really like the colors and recommend. The pantone image I posted should give you a decent idea of what the colors will look like printed. Very close to those. This might vary for different rolls but I think its close. The colors look a little brighter in my pictures than they are in normal indoor lighting. I did not edit the photos but the auto adjustment seems to have brightened them a bit. These are rich deep colors. As for the mustard and blue. As with the other, it printed fine. The colors are very nice together. I would really love to find a solid mustard though. No one sells/makes it. Tho Polyterra has a green that is close.

Too Soft
I was super excited to try out this product but ended up very disappointed. It arrived on time and packaged well. The color was gorgeous and everything seemed great. I loaded it in my Ender Max Neo and hit print. A few hours in and I had no print, no filament being extruded, went through all the usual steps and discovered the filament broke and it was just printing air. Reloaded and hit print, a few hours later there was a big curly mess where the filament started shaving and spiraling up from the extruder and around the gantry. After cleaning that all up I noticed that the filament seemed really pliable but I was still not deterred, I loaded it in my Ender V3SE and hit print from the go I had nothing but problems and still no successful prints. So after a lot of investigating and several whole hearted attempts to salvage the filament I'm sorry to say that it is just Too Soft to use, bending too easily and constantly causing shavings and a mushy mess.

Very nice matte appearance/texture, and good quality prints
The media could not be loaded. This is the first matte PLA I've printed with, and I was unsure exactly how it would differ from "traditional" PLA that I've printed with before as I would not exactly call my previous prints glossy. This material does have an even lower sheen however and results in a softer feel. One nice side-effect of this is that the subtle ghosting that can be highlighted in other prints by reflections virtually disappears with this matte material.I've included photos of my calibration prints (temperature, retraction distance, and retraction speed.) I've also included a timelapse/photos of the obligatory 3D Benchy print (actually my first!) In my tests I found a nozzle temp of 195 to be optimal, with a retraction distance of 4mm and speed of 20 mm/s. These were all printed on a slightly modified Eryone Thinker S - only noteworthy changes are the part fan duct and BLTouch. My only potential concern would be that it seems that the self-adhesion isn't as good as traditional PLA. I say self-adhesion rather than layer adhesion because I didn't notice any separation between layers but I did notice my brims coming apart in multiple pieces (this can be seen a bit in brim at the bow of the benchy), which doesn't typically happen. So adjacent lines of the same layer don't seem to adhere as well as traditional PLA, but this only really seemed to affect my brims which are discarded anyway. Not necessarily an issue, just an observation.Overall I really like this material and I'm excited to use it for some future projects!

Great color
This roll was bought just to see how it would look for different things that I like to print. The performance is great, tangle free, and is very good value for the money. The adhesion was great with the right temperature and I never noticed any warped prints.

Magnifique
Un superbe pla, s’imprime très facilement, la double couleur est vraiment belle avec une transition douce et nette. Juste faire attention à ne pas imprimer trop vite 😉

Great looking finish
By far one of my favourite filaments already. The stealth fighter I printed came out great. Zero supports and the pri t came out great. Will buy again once I finish the roll.
