I don’t know why these companies don’t add some extra thick pads to enable compatibility with the latest 25W chargers. The main difference is that the new charger is 1mm thinner.I used some thick double sided tape (instead of the thin tape that comes with this) and fits the new charger perfectly.I also swapped the vent mount for a window one (same ball size).

Holds the MagSafe ok until the sticky provided fails, then your phone just falls out still attached to the MagSafe, the spare provided was useless couldn’t even get the protective film off it, mine is probably used way more than average as i use my phone for scanning parcels and delivering them so the phone is placed on and off it over 80 times a day, but even so, there should be away off holding the MagSafe in with a screw or similar like Brodit do.

I wanted to write a positive review to try and help people with this purchase.It’s a tough sell, at around £15 (at time of purchase) NOT including the MagSafe charger or a USB-C charging adapter, but once you have these extras, it works really well! My 12 Pro has stayed on for hundreds of miles, the only time it has fallen off is when I have knocked it off with my clumsy hands, which so far has been twice.If you’re on the fence and unimpressed by other “all-in-one” 3rd party solutions like I was, this is a great alternative!

The idea is perfect though expensive. The phone doesn’t feel secure even on a MagSafe puck. This is because the vent fitting is not a solid fix and vibrates when driving- even jumps up and down. For the price this is a major flaw. The MagSafe charger does adhere well to the holder, this is the main praise. I sent mine back as I was worried my phone would fall out and break at the first pothole. Wouldn’t recommend especially as the price is so high for a poor design.

Looks ok, does need a littlePressure to assemble. You have to buy a separate MagSafe and once installed it is stuck to the car mount (you cannot remove). Really means you need an additional charger as this one will have to stay in the car - you cannot use without sticking them together as the phone and charger will fall.

So lots of people were hard on this bolder as it doesn’t come with the actual charger and it only fits the genuine Apple charger but it’s great. Yes you have to buy the charger and a USB-C car charger (Anker do great ones) separate but then you end up with the best holder. Once you set the holder in position the phone sticks on it perfectly. I have the 12 pro max so the heaviest iPhone at the time and the only time it’s come off is when I’ve knocked it, had it now for the last 3,000 miles and no issues. I do use a genuine Apple case so that probably helps but if you get it all right it’s the perfect option. I’ve tried a few options and if you are going to be putting the phone on a dock and off a lot this is by far the best way forward.

This is a great phone mount and the Apple charger (not supplied) is strong enough to hold my iPhone 13 pro even over some quite tough terrain.The mount required some of the corner to be cut out (see pictures) though to accommodate the camera bump - this is necessary even without the case, albeit less so. I didn’t notice this for months and the phone was being held fairly well without the modification but the phone did occasionally fall off if slightly knocked. Now that the magnetic connection is full, this does not happen so easily.Overall, I prefer the simplicity of this design which successfully mounts the phone as quickly and easily as just placing the phone down on a surface.
