You can always use this for something. It really sticks!
This is something you need when you need it. We had GoPro cameras at work and I noticed that the mounts had this stuff on them. And the mounts hold the cameras onto whatever very securely. So I called 3M who makes the VHB product (in many forms, as it turns out) and they described how the tape works and how best to apply it. So I thought, "I should buy a roll of this stuff just to have it around."Fast forward to now. I'm in the throes of setting up a home theater system. Imagine what you can do with power strips, power bricks, connector tie-downs, etc. with this tape. I stuck my Amazon Fire, surge protector power strip, Sony TV power brick, and various wire tie nylon connector blocks to the painted plywood wall (recessed enclosure) behind where the TV will go. Did all of this and routed the cords and cables before mounting the TV.Worked well, made for some very secure mounts, and organized everything well. For years, I was frustrated by cheap double-sided tape that I would use for these kinds of things. You know...that thin white stuff that only sticks for awhile? Pretty soon, the tape would warm, soften, and peel away leaving my cords and cables a dangling mess again. No so with this VHB. This stuff won't come off easily and seems to be pretty tolerant of warm and cold temps and even age.I'd recommend getting a small roll of this tape for your toolbox. It's very handy to have.

Hell of a sticky tape
Very good quality double sided tape. Needed for mounting LED lights on the back of my TV. Excellent quality but the protective tape is a PITA to pull off. Patience is the essence but it finally goes off

Sticky!
Used it on my car window rain guards on a 65 degree sunny day. Sticks well so far. Drove on the highway an hour later and still intact. I bought this tape because of the thickness (45 mil). So far so good. I used 90 percent of the roll for 4 rain guards.

Very, VERY strong adhesive strength.
Powerful adhesive pull strength. I think the spec says 30 pounds per square inch of tape but check that for yourself. Five years ago I used it to hold solar panels on the roof of our RV so that I don't have to make holes in the roof. Of course I test it at the start of every season with all the pull I dare apply without breaking the panels. Speeds up to 75 mph and the panels are still there.. .More recently I used it to support the glass panel table top beneath the surrounding steel frame of our patio table. (The original plastic clips had failed and would allow the glass to fall.) The resulting supporting bond is far stronger and safer than the original clips.

Good product!
We bought the 3M Scotch 595 2 VHB Tape to use on a van build, we needed to hook down a plastic part on the roof of the van.The tape stuck down really good and the thickness was perfect for the application we used it for.The quality was good and we didn't have any problems with it.We would buy it again.
