Like a KING on his throne
This thing is awesome. I actually look forward to using the bathroom. Heated seat, cleaner, dryer. Makes me feel like a king on a throne every time I take the Browns to the superbowl. All settings are customizable to your liking (heat, intensity, position, blower). Like a fancy car that adjusts to the driver when you get in. Installation is easy but even if it wasn't, who cares? I have installed it twice in the last 5 years (once when I moved). This is something you set up and never have to mess with again, so install time is a non-issue. Could not be happier and could not imagine any bidet on the market being better than this one. I'm spoiled now. Be ready for some lifestyle creep next time you have to sit on a cold seat and use paper like a caveman.

A total game changer for bathroom hygiene
The TOTO C5 has completely upgraded my daily routine. The PREMIST feature really helps keep the bowl clean, and the adjustable warm water settings make it incredibly comfortable to use. The heated seat is a life-saver on cold mornings, and the remote is intuitive and easy to mount.

Easy
Excellent product! Exactly what it promises, took me 11minutes to install it with the video. Water and seat are warm, works perfectly. I’m very impressed and did not think it would be such a great purchase. I wish I knew about it years ago. I can’t imagine investing in the entire toilet system when this lid really is all you need. I purchased it as it was recommended for post op back surgery, so glad I found this.

Seat is not auto open/ close
I liked the look and feel of the toilet seat. The seat was nice and warm unlike other models I tried where the seat did not get warm enough. It was quiet when using, the bad is that the seat does not automatically open and close which I had not noticed, which is sad considering it is higher priced.

Easy installation, worth the money.
Packaged arrived next day as scheduled thru prime. Package included all necessary parts to install. (T valve for water, and adjustable bracket and screws to install). GFCI was already available, so no need for electrician. Removed the original seat and followed the directions. Tools needed were a tape measure and a Philips screw driver to tighten the seat to the toilet. They supplied the rubber bushings with nuts attached that easily pushed into the holes on the toilet. They give a starting dimension of where to put the adjustable mounting plate. I installed per that dimension and had to move it one notch so that the front of the seat lined up with the front of the toilet. Turned off the water to the toilet tank and drained it by holding the flush lever down before removing the fill line. Installed the tee valve and rehooked the main line and the line to the seat. Turned the water back on and plugged it in. After reading the directions and watching an online video for the remote, I turned it all on and tested all the functions. ( use a cup or can to catch the water from the wand to keep from getting water on the floor.) The seat heater works great and comforting. When it is time to wash, the water starts out warm, but cools off towards the end of the cycle. The heated dryer works good. I had zero leaks, and the seat is sturdy and does not move. The top lid cannot be sat on due to the electronics involved and may crack and due damage. I have only had it for a week and so far so good. Money well spent.

My New Bathroom Essential: The Toto Washlet C5
I recently purchased the Toto Washlet C5, and it has transformed my bathroom experience. My primary reasons for buying it were improved hygiene and comfort, and it has exceeded my expectations on both fronts. Setting up the Washlet C5 was straightforward. I was able to handle the plumbing myself without any issues and no leaks encountered. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, though I will say the black rubber bolts you screw into weren't immediately intuitive. I did opt to hire an electrician to install a new outlet in my bathroom, as the unit requires power, but this was a planned step and not a surprise. I had no other unexpected challenges during installation. I use the warm water wash, heated seat, warm air dryer, and oscillating spray every single time. The pulsating spray also gets some use. The cleaning performance is effective, and the water pressure is perfectly comfortable. It's more effective at cleaning than other bidets I've used, even those with higher water pressure settings. The warm air dryer is effective if you're patient enough to use it for a longer duration, though I generally still use a small amount of toilet paper for a quick finish, significantly reducing my overall paper consumption. As for the automatic air deodorizer and EWATER+ features, I haven't noticed a significant difference, but their presence doesn't detract from the overall performance. The wireless remote control is intuitive to use, and the included mount allowed me to place it right next to the toilet. The seat itself is comfortable to sit on, and despite being a sizable unit, the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and fits well in my bathroom. The SoftClose lid and seat are a nice touch. While the price reflects its quality, the Toto Washlet C5 stands out among other bidets I've tried. I recommend the Toto Washlet C5 to anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom experience. It cleans exceptionally well, offers fantastic comfort with its heated seat and water, and feels like a high-quality, durable appliance. It's an investment that pays off in daily comfort and hygiene.

1/2 Star Tech Support/3 Stars Product
I ordered three different brand bidets so I can evaluate each one before ordering the 4th/5th one later and so I can advise family and friends about my experience. Of the three (Bio Bidet, Smart Bidet and Toto), the first two which I installed first have 5 stars in my opinion. No issues from installation to performance. Toto leaked water at the hose connection. I called tech support. It took several email exchanges before tech support relented to send me the replacement parts. No reflection on the tech person who responded to my call and email exchanges but "management" required photos of the part on three separate occasions. Each time I had to drop other things I was doing to take the three photos, download and attached them via separate emails because "management" kept asking after I submitted the first one. It was only after six or so email exchanges that they decided to send me the parts. "Management" hinted that the hose connection was improperly installed by me; when I had no problems installing the other two brands. I am a capable DIY person who does woodworking for a hobby so I don't do these things willy nilly. The Toto bidet is okay with a 3 stars. The seat installation went well, the remote control is capable but falls short of the other two brands in features and ease of use. One issue I find is the use of plastic to tighten the connections. The other two use metal. Check the photos. Furthermore, the parts came with no instruction on disconnecting and connecting the hose to the seat. They sent pictures but as you can see the end connection will be secured by a spring clip and a plastic cover that hides the tubing connection to the seat, which I had a hard time removing. The other two have a straight forward connection - a nut into a clearly protruding tube. Overall, I do not recommend this bidet. Furthermore, I just didn't understand the rational for requiring so many pictures when the customer clearly explained where the leak was. It would have been plain and simple customer relations to just send the part outright. I venture to say that most consumers who order these bidets are likely DIY folks. Plastic nuts and threads, for the kind of money spent on these things, seem to invite otherwise avoidable issues. There was a lot of frustration with all the emails, then I had to disconnect meanwhile while waiting for the part and I had difficulty removing and installing the silly hose connection. Last photo does show the metal nut for the Smart Bidet, which was the same for the Bio Bidet as well.

Easy to setup and wonderful to use
I love the Toto washlet. The set is always warm. Also a good way to stay clean without the mess and septic issues from over use of toilet tissue.
