Exactly as described
These balls are great. They are exactly as described. ~2.5" diameter (so a little bigger around than the height of your average credit/debit/gift card, but smaller than the width)They are see through, and I found the colors to be a pretty good match for the pictures.Mine came in a mesh bag. I did manage to get the balls all back in so its the right size.They did NOT smell when I received them (some have that disgusting manufacturers plant smell)As described in the details, it is just the balls in a mesh bag (which can be re-purposed so you don't have visits from the sock-eating monster)I decided to count my package. it was spot on at 100 balls. I didn't try stepping on it since the weight load says 150 and I'm definitely no where near that. So, no way to test that part...I've submitted a picture of what this package (100 balls) looks like in a 62" square pool (complete with twins because they don't stay out)

Thumbs up. The crush proff tech is nice. The colors are great. You may want to buy more than one pack.
Generic word of advice on playballs: Make sure to read the description to determine what colors you are getting when you order these playballs. A lot of the other sets show pictures with lots of colors, but then the descriptions tell you that there are only like three colors.BIG PRO: This set has a good variety of colors, and they look awesome and magical when you mix the standard playballs with the see through ones. The picture on the page actually matched up with my set I received. I've attached pictures of the set I received.Biggest pro: The playballs are deceivingly soft (which is a good thing), so you can fall on them and they act a little like a pillow. I thought it would hurt if I stepped on a 'crush proof' ball, but it didn't hurt at all, it just smooshed down and popped back into shape afterwards.Weird pro: Also, I actually got 101 balls. So... buy 100 get 1 free? ;pBiggest con: These might have been a little pricier, but they have the best variety of color, so it's worth it for me.Weird con: 100 playballs doesn't fill up a space as quickly as you'd think it should. I bought 250 balls and it was only able to fill the bottom layer of our 'ball pit'. (It's an old repurposed inflatable swimming pool.) Pictured.

Good
I like these balls for a few reasons. The plastic they are made of (LDPE) is supposed to be one of the safest. The cost was better than a lot others. The number of balls. The colors are nice. And they're relatively durable. That isn't to say we haven't had some crushed ones, because we have. But all-in-all I think these are worth it if you need/want ball pit balls.

Don't waste your dollars - easy to crush
These are thin, some start to crush by trying to gently lift them out of the box. I cannot even imagine the kids playing with these. It should take seconds to destroy them. It's not worth returning, so I'll be buying more balls (NOT THESE) that are crush-proof and a better value. Be aware, these are very small compared to the balls you are used to seeing. I couldn't believe there were 100 in such a small box. There were exactly 100, and interesting enough, the box said "sold as a set". I bought no set - just the balls.I'd give it zero stars, but then you can't rate it at all. Save yourself the money and time; just say no and keep looking. Wish I had...

beautiful transparant bubbles!
I purchased 2 sets of these balls and made a life size Ker-plunk game for fun family activities and BBQ's. By grandchildren and their parents loved the game and a couple of neighbors asked if they could borrow it too. The balls are beautifully transparent and several of their mom's asked where I had gotten them as they were so beautiful. I also used these with this same activity as a family function I was in charge of for a commercial preschool. It's the best back yard game ever and the balls are quite durable. A few got stepped on and they popped right back into shape. These did not come in a drawstring storage bag, they came in a clear zippered tote which was just fine for me, that way they don't get dusty.

Very durable--worth the extra investment.
We purchased these play balls to fill a ball pit for my 15 month old son. The balls came in a very nice mesh tote. I don't anticipate storing the balls in this, but it would be great for storing other toys!The balls themselves are very sturdy. To test them we sat on them, crunched them, stood on them and they always popped right back. The colors are vibrant and the finish is glossy...not dull like some other balls that I have seen. My son had a great time jumping around in the balls and then collecting them to put them back in the ball pit.These are a little more expensive, but they are durable and look great. Additionally, I feel better knowing they are phthalate free, as these do end up in little ones' mouths.

The balls are pretty, but did not come with the tote
The balls are pretty, but did not come with the tote, which was one of the main reasons that I chose this particular set. They are for a gift, so now I have to figure out some sort of carrying case for them, which is annoying.EDIT!!!!!!!I am editing my review because I wrote the above post before dumping all of the balls out! The tote was mixed in with the balls! I counted them so I could add that to my review, and we got 102 balls. So ignore my above review and check the balls for the tote!

Great quality and price point!
These plastic balls are great! I put a good amount of pressure on them and they don't break or crush. They squish in a little bit when squeezed, but immediately resume their shape when released. I actually got 102 balls as well! These balls arrived in a plastic bag, but the (empty) mesh bag was also inside the plastic sack, which I was happy about. All of the balls fit nicely into the mesh bag that was provided.
