Let's be serious, after working on our little farm all day mowing, cutting and stacking firewood, and cleaning up debris from a recent storm, who can say that reclining on a hammock in 85 degree weather with your 6-year-old daughter is not a 5-star event. Granted a lot of that was the situation; however, opening a box that arrived on time, all the parts were it the box (I already had hooks in the two trees), nothing to assemble (save tying the pillow to the cross bars), and thirty seconds later the two of us were pile in, made this a priceless moment. This product seems to be built quite sturdy (later, it had all four of us in lounging in it) the quilting is a nice touch. I am not sure who will get more joy out of it (parents or kids) as the 6-year-old spent the next getting in and out of it for hours (no broken bones... yet). This product was well worth the price.Bonus, if you adjust the knots on the strings right, you can play a tune by plucking them while lying down. I was able to get a good version of Puff The Magic Dragon.

Beautiful, but shorter than expected

I bought this hammock to replace a 3 year old Pauley Island unit. I was initially skeptical due to this unit being almost $100 less than the Pauley unit. I have had my new unit from prime garden now for a couple of months and wife and I are loving it everytime we use it. The build quality, stiching, color, comfort, etc have exceeded all of my expectations. It was a bit stiff when we first hung it, however, it didn't take long to break it in. The comfort level is far superior to that of rope type hammocks such as Pauley Island. The quilting feels luxurious and plush when laying on it. When I share it with my 5 Shitzu pupies, there feet do not fall through the openings like our previous unit. It is left out 24/7 and has been through several high wind thunder storms with no issues. The build is sturdy and rugged, yet the comfort is superior along with better than expected visual appeal. I would buy again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great looking comfortable hammock.

Would not buy this again. We have bought several of these over the years and they typically last about 2-3 years of use before they fade and the wood starts to crack. This one lasted 4 days before some shocking fading on the pillow. We will be returning this product and buying something else. Quality has absolutely changed here with this product to the wrong direction.

Seemed like nice quality fabric, nicely stitched, and liked the additional bonus of a pillow. Easy to install. But within a few days, the green stripes faded to a muddy brown color. Curiously, the fabric on the pillow did not fade, nor the underside of the hammock. It must be due to sun exposure, which is odd for something made for the outdoors. You can see the difference in color between the hammock & pillow in the attached pics.

Wife loves her new hammock. Very soft and comfortable. The ropes are cotton, so leaving this in the sun will be problematic for that. Hers lives on the covered patio, with a sun screen next to it. We should get a few years before there are issues. It will come in for the winter. Nice product very satisfiedUnable to locate mosquito netting that will fit over the spreader bars, except the tent style netting. Anyone else find a net that works on these styles?

This looked great when it arrived. After being outside for 24 hours it started to fade; within the first week it completely changed colors and now it is completely washed out and diednt look good at all. The fabric is also slippery.
