Poorly made for price
Used 4 or 5 times last year. Worked great then first time using it this year plastic tip came off in soft core round bale. Just past 1 year warranty so no replacement. Very disappointed with quality considering the cost.

A must have!
It was a tough year for hay in the Midwest due to heavy rains and not many dry days. Hay prices were up to 7.00 bale in some areas. We managed to get hay for 5.00/bale however excess rain caused many barns to have moldy and dusty hay. Our barn purchased this hay moisture tester and we are convinced it saved us a lot of money and headaches from purchasing hay that molds. We literally tested 75% of the bales we took off the hay wagons in the fields to assure they were dry. Some were not and we left them. I have opened some of the bales that we tested about a month ago and they are all great!! I would highly recommed this moisture tester. So far it has given us great results and we have peace of mind knowing the hay we are purchasing is dry and will cure well. Won't go another season without it. We took only bales that were 19% or less and it has all dried and cured just lovely!!

Piece of junk. Used it briefly (3 or 4 times) then gave me bogus reading “320” never changed after that. Messaged amazon, got told to contact manufacturer, called, was given an address to send it to, never heard back, never saw it again (4 or 5 months). Waste of money.

Keep it safe
Bought this after buying a cheaper one when my hay tester broke. The other one wasn’t reliable. So far this one seems to be working good. We are hay producers for horse farms and the last thing we want is to sell hay that molds or catches fire from not being made right. This test help to ensure our hay is hood
