Viking Solutions Floor/Deck Fishing Rod Rack

It arrived with a couple bent pieces, nothing major. All hardware was present and it was reasonably easy to put together. Fit and finish is ok, would actually look really nice in white. My biggest problem with it is that it doesn’t fit the rods I use to troll in the Chesapeake Bay for Stripers. In the questions somebody essentially stated that it could, it can not without modification. Large inshore rods like that have a foam pad that extends well past the reel, and the notches cut in the top of the rod holder are for too small and/or the bar too low to accommodate them. I will use it for smaller inshore spinning and casting rods and for those it’ll be fine.

I rarely do reviews, but this product made me write a really good one. I just received my rod rack from Viking Solutions and I have to say that I was very impressed. The construction quality of the rod rack is just outstanding. This product is well built and light weight. I love the way they designed the top are of the rack to avoid scratches on the rod. This is a great product for a great price. I would recommend this rod rack to anyone.

Very nice. Pretty easy to put together. Very sturdy. We bought the wall mount version and returned for this version. Very easy to move around. Would definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced.

My rods do not stand up perfectly as they show in the ad...I'll put a bungy around the top to keep things where they are supposed to stay...Also I did not get all the nuts and bolts I was supposed to get...there was minor shipping damage. However, I'll keep the item...was able to bend the damage back so it will work and make do with the bolts that came with it.

The instructions really suck but the rack is awesome. You just have to pay close attention to the picture. I figured it out and the rack is growing on me. It's a lot easier than the cheap one's sold in the department stores.

Hands down this is the best bang for your buck to hold all rods with reels this thing is rock solid and sturdy I can get a rod out of it without really having to shuffle the others around and my 7'6 rods still fit without hitting my ceiling.

My first Viking rack was a gift. I needed to fill another so I just purchased a second one for my collection. These are easy to assemble, extremely sturdy, made of steel, and hold a lot of outfits. The paint is applied heavy like industrial type steel paint. I was imprressed by the first one and these will be the last racks you will ever buy due to quality. Save your money and buy these not the other off brand ABS or Alloy types.

Nice. Much better looking and more durable (metal) than some of the plastic rod holders seen advertised. Mine had a small dent in it when it arrived but I straightened it with no problem. Happy buyer.
