When inflated, each sky lantern is 44 inches tall, 24 inches wide at the top, and 16 inches wide at the bottom. When in flight the warm glow can be seen floating for miles on a clear night. Each lantern is individually wrapped, and includes a fuel cell with each lantern. Simple unfold the lantern body, unwrap the paper cover from the attached fuel cell, light and fly. Extremely easy to light and fly, Kentucky Home lanterns require no assembly. With an average flight time of 10 to 12 minutes, your sky lantern can travel for many miles before the fuel burns completely and the lantern gently floats to the ground. An average flight can reach up to 2000 feet in altitude, and can fly for approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Altitude and light time can vary depending on wind speed, and caution must be used when flying. To ensure safety it is important to never launch your lanterns in winds above 5 miles per hour, sky and fly for about 10-12 minutes. The distance they will travel will depend on the wind speed and direction. They can reach heights of up to 2000 feet high (above the ground) depending on conditions. Laws regulating use vary from city to city, state to state, to users will need to check with their city to verify that sky lanterns are allowed in their area.
