Four Stars
Works pretty good but very flimsy construction. Oh well, have to have it.

Works fine
Works fine, arrived on time. The only reason for the 3 star is the build is cheap, plastic. Weak case already coming apart and highly doubt it will last very long.

If you have an Einstein, then you need this receiver.
This receiver opens up possibilities you don't have with most other strobes or triggers, like conveniently adjusting the power level of the strobe from your camera (assuming you're using a miniTT1 or FlexTT5 transmitter). This was SUCH a relief, rather than having to manually adjust power on the strobe itself (dropping it down from height if elevated on a light stand was NOT convenient). Also, you can go beyond the natural sync speed of your camera, and eke out a little more light relative to daylight when using this unit outdoors (very handy if you find yourself needing to overpower the sun). I wish I had gotten it right when I got the Einstein, rather than waiting. This receiver adds so much to the strobe, it's definitely a must-have. It doesn't need batteries (runs right off the Einstein's power), so there's one less thing to worry about. And it can be used to power on the Einstein remotely in case it goes to sleep or you want to set up the unit (but leave the power off) in advance. Anyway... this is very nice to have, and worth the price!

Glass half full.
Works fine as a flash trigger but ONLY use high speed sync when the flash is on full power. That limitation renders it almost useless for HSS but it works fine as a regular trigger.

overpriced!
It works as described with the pocket wizard system. However, it's way overpriced!!!!

They're great for any project
I have multiple Einstein E640s and have yet to have an issue with them firing off. A definite must for these lights. I have placed lights around corners and have yet to loose connections. They're great for any project! I have found the especially useful in Real Estate Photography.

Works, but receiver is a joke.
This transmitter worked fine, but the receiver MultiMax II was junk. PW, you really need an all in one with control. Asking us to bundle receivers when the Paul C Buff Cybercommander will do it all in one is silly for a company with your reputation (and price).
