Japanese Incense Byakudan (Sandalwood) Kobunboku #535 Small Size

I love byakudan incense and I have no regrets with the two sets I've ordered. They seemed a bit strong and musky to my western nose when they first came in, but they've mellowed some and been wonderful to burn. I light one every morning now as part of my meditation practice. Love them. Have ordered them twice each now and look forward to trying other scents.

These are nice. I wasn't sure at first about a spicy smelling sandalwood but it changed my mind after lighting one.I would get these again.

I love the smell, simple and beautiful, this is my second purchase. And when times come, I will buy another box^^

I just received my third box of Japanese Incense Byakudan, I offer incense every morning and this is a clean burning incense. The product always arrives timely even though it is coming from Japan.

This is a good quality incense. The sticks are about 5.3" long and the burning time is half slower than another brand which is 8" long. The fragrance is just too harsh and irritates my throat. It is a blended material that has less sandalwood than I hoped for.

Wonderful and peaceful, this incense is. Though the scent is delicate when burning, if you are quiet and relaxing, you can experience the incense to it's fullest. Japanese incense are the best.

This is one of a few incenses in many many years that I really liked very much!

I've read forums where incense and other fragrances are constantly being reformulated. I've noticed this is some of the incense I use to love. This Byokudan seems to be near the same as before and still worth buying. Sandalwood seems toned down a notch otherwise I'm still buying this one.
