You need this for your multirotors!
This is awesome for my multirotors and helicopters. Easily seen from the air for spotting your landing area, weighted on the edges so it will not blow around, folds up nicely into a smaller package with included carrying case. The only negative is the price. It is pretty pricey. But it is high quality too!If you fly multirotors I highly recommend this pad!

Big Landing Pad For My expensive Drone
The Hoodman HDLP drone 5-foot diameter landing pad is great. Excellent quality and design. Because of its size, it can be a bit difficult to fold and put back in its carrying case. However, Hoodman provides both excellent written instructions and an on-line video to teach you the proper way to fold it up. Great product!

Perfect!
Love the size for my Inspire2. But admittedly, I had to look on YouTube to figure out how to fold that sucker up! You would think its easy but only after you know the routine. But Great build quality, very happy with it. And dont skimp, buy the 5 foot one like this one, 8 is overkill i'm sure. 3 would be just too small no matter what you're flying. You want to bring that aircraft in, and land it right away on clean cover, not play around like a "crane game" or something trying to center mark something.

Worth the money in the long run
It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. I volenteer my time and drones for fire as well as search and rescue operations in very rough terrain. Takeoffs and landings are much easier and it is saving alot of expensive props. Although folding it takes some practice, I've deployed it in 30mph gusts and it has stayed put. If you fly larger drones this product is well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

High Quality Landing Pad.
Well built. Heavy enough to not be blown away during takeoff and landing. Actually folds up easy and stores in the included storage bag. Material and craftsmanship appear to be hi by h quality. It's not inexpensive, but it was not built to be. I'm sure this will last a long time.

Will fade over time. 5 stars
Fades out after about a year of use, but 5 stars from me.

Pricey, but works great
Very well made, and doesn't move in breezy conditions. The lighter-weight pads have to be held down with stakes, which would be a pain and might damage the low props on a Mavic if they're sticking up too high. I'm a beginner pilot, so I'm glad I got the 5-foot version. Even that is not easy to hit when it's gusty.

Good for drone maintenance, but maybe a little pricey.
This is an extremely visible launching pad for your drone, and is large enough to make takeoff/landing convenient. I'm using a Yuneec Typhoon H, which has a fairly sizeable footprint, and positioning it just so on landing can be somewhat difficult on the smaller footprint launch pads. This one is lightweight, but has a heavy cable ring around it. It compacts quickly and easily, but stays in place even when the hexacopter propellors are running at full speed for takeoff. Some may wonder why they should use a launch pad... I use it to prevent the dust that would otherwise get kicked up during launch and landing from gumming up the motors, and my existing controller makes it more difficult to launch the drone by hand (or perform catch landings.).It is high quality, and you get what you pay for, but I am docking it one star for the price... For $100, it isn't going to be easy to justify for all drone users.
