Really effective in my walls
Summary: I'm really pleased (and surprised) with the way these plugs gripped the screws, giving a reassuring firm fixture for my curtain poles and skirting boards. My walls in my extension are made of soft "aircrete" blocks, with dot-&-dab plasterboard as the internal finish. I've always had problems putting things up on the wall - should I use plugs suitable for plasterboard or plugs suitable for a solid wall. I've normally got round the issue by using several plugs together - a sort of belts and braces approach. However, this technique has roughly a 75% success rate, with some screws simply turning in the hole (they are reasonably solid but not if you pull hard). These plugs seemed to have a 100% success rate (at least on the 11 screws I did on 2 curtain poles yesterday), so I'm very happy.(Bought with other sizes)
