Joy of Coloring Mandalas Poster (4 Set), 11" x 17"

I'm in LOVE with these small poster sizes mandalas! I recently got into adult coloring books. While I enjoy the coloring aspect of it very much, it seemed like coloring the pages of a book was a little pointless. I then searched for something I might eventually be able to frame and hang and came across these mandalas.The designs are beautiful. The symmetry is on point and the center design basically repeats it's outer edges in the corners of the poster. I also love the variety in the designs. One has soft, round and less sharp edges, while another is more floral in nature. The leaf designs on the other two, while they have similar qualities, are still completely different. The weight of the poster paper is great. It's thick enough so that if you're using gel pens, there won't be bleed through. I use a combination of both gel pens and colored pencils. I will say that once you get to the intricate center of these designs, you definitely need a very fine point to color within the lines. I recommend keeping a pencil sharpener handy or using a gel pen that has a very fine tip. That portion of the design take a very good amount of concentration, patience and time to color in. Definitely better for someone who's artistically inclined or someone with a little experience in coloring these types of books or designs.I'm very excited to get my first one finished so that I can frame it and use it in my office! I'm also working on one for a friend who liked the progress I'd made on mine so far.

I have been enjoying finding new ways to enjoy mandala coloring for several years now. When I first found the Joy of Coloring Mandalas Posters 4 pack I placed them on my wish list because, I was unfamiliar with the brand. The price for a 4 pack was a lot more then brands that are more familiar to me. Stuff2Color and Rose Art; whose poster packages average around 12 or more posters a package for around $17. So $ 19 for 4 seemed high in my opinion. Recently the Joy of Coloring Mandalas was on sale and I reciveved a wish list alert and decided to purchased them. When they arrived I was really disappointed in this product.~ They are *posters* in name only they are not printed on true poster stock paper. They are on the flimsy *white fold box stock* ( At least this is the name given to the generic boxes we used in local store I worked in and used these boxes in the gift shop, and bakery) style paper. It bends terribly .~ Designs have printing flaws that are aggravating to the eye. Designs were not donecessarily symmetrical. Designs are actually printed smaller than they appear on the product page. Magnification is needed to avoid eyestrain.- Blurred lines and shadow images. The pack of 4 Designs I received had a defect in the designs. There were blurred lines and shadow images . It looked like the design was reprinted over an mistake in printing or paper was shiftedOver all opinion they definitely not the *Joy* or quality that was hoped for. Very glad that I waited for the sale price, but would've been happier to have purchased a brand that I was familiar with in hindsight . Couldn't recomend these to others.

The sided pages bleed unless you use pencils.

What can I say, I love these coloring books. Eases the stress of the day.Great for anxiety. Love the Zen-like pictures. Brings back the relaxing days when I used to color with markers with the kids.

Big clear prints on heavy stock... nice combination. Can't really say much more about it. They're nice.
