Not too bad! It's light, has a rubbery, non-slip grip, and floats in the pool. Slightly more stable than just holding the GoPro in my hand, and it also acts as a super short selfie stick when needed. Great for the price!

I bought this to go on a trip to punta cana. It worked for a little bit but there is a major design flaw. It has threads at the bottom to attach to a tripod which to me is a useless feature and since it has that water gets inside of it. Those of you who have this should notice water inside it when you shake the grip holder. I tried getting the water out but couldn't. Once this grip gets so much water inside it, it will sink! Just like mine does! I almost lost a 500 dollar gopro..bought another one from another company for 2 dollars less and its a sealed unit. Would highly recommend this if it was completely sealed but its not. Don't waste your money.

This was awful. I liked the grip and it mounted the GoPro fine, but it was not water tight.. After only a few minutes of use, the barrel started to fill with water. Very quickly it was no longer buoyant.19SEP2016 UPDATE: I upgraded the review from 1 star to 2 stars and am adding this follow up. The vendor MCOCEAN contacted me via email and apologized for the defective product, offered to replace it or to substitute some other product of theirs. I don't need a replacement nor any other products at this time, but the customer service offer was appreciated. I can't say anything nice about this particular unit, perhaps mine was a rare defect and most are ok, but mine was definitely defective and it filled with water almost immediately upon use. Still the vendor shows themselves to care about customer satisfaction and that goes a long way.

This was plastic expecting something heavier

I loved the size and feel of this float. It was a good size to feel comfortable holding it and feel like you had a good grip on it. The black part has some texture to it, which made me more confident in the water with it since it didn't feel as likely to slip out. It was easy to attach the camera to this handle and as promised floated right at the surface. My only problem is that the bottom yellow part broke off when we were using it a few month later. This wasn't expensive, so not a huge loss but annoying since I liked it so much.

It's summertime, and the kids are always in the pool. I got an action camera (EX5000 model, knockoff GoPro) to take pictures and video of the kids having fun. It's super nice to be able to take the camera into the pool with you to get the shots that you otherwise wouldn't get. Problem is that the camera in the waterproof enclosure by itself can be a bit challenging to hang on to, especially for the kids who are always covering up the lens of the camera trying to get a good grip on it.The MCOCEAN floating hand grip mounted onto the EX5000 waterproof enclosure with ease, and provides a easy to grip rubberized surface. The floating aspect isn't really necessary for a backyard pool, as the camera in the enclosure floats by itself, but if you go to the lake or ocean this is a must. The bright yellow color provides a highly visible beacon so you can easily find your camera in the event you drop it from the boat, or whatever else you're doing in the water. Best part about it for me at home is the kids don't ruin the shots anymore when I have them dive into the pool holding the camera.Nice price point, and a high quality item.
