This seed did in fact germinate for me and grew into a lovely Thai basil but definitely not scent leaf. You don't get what you pay for with this seller.

Seeds did not germinate.
The seeds Ocimum gratissimum West African Wild Clove Basil; I purchased 50 seeds that were delivered on November 30, 2023. I planted the seeds same day in plant starter soil that I bought at Home Depot. Today, 12/30/2023, as I write, not a single seed germinated. I contacted the seller and requested for replacement, but there was no response from seller.

Cinnamon Basil, Not Clove
Basil has many varieties, lime, cinnamon, Italian, spicy...which I have already have growing in my herb garden. When I saw clove basil I was thinking cool let's add that but was disappointed it was more cinnamon and not clove. It is what it is.
