My wife says I look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle!I don't know what others are measuring, but the medium fits me well, just like the size guide says (5'6" 142lbs 38" chest). Everything sits where it is suppose to and I was surprised that it wasn't more restrictive. I wish this would have been available when I played hockey in my younger days!When I raced mx decades ago, few wore any upper body protection, except for maybe a chest pad. One guy got run over and needed about 100 stitches to close a footpeg gash in his lower back! A suit like this certainly would have prevented that injury. This fits reasonably well under my small sized jersey, but I am between sizes, so a medium jersey would be perfect. If you expect some other rider contact, as when racing, you need this. If you are going to try big air, you need this! Could this save your bacon on a street or trail ride? It certainly could!There are other types of protectors with thicker and/or softer material, but you will pay substantially more, and may not find them any more useful or comfortable. Even some "name brands" are very similar in build.

I got this to wear during summer riding season in Oklahoma as my other gear was far too sweaty. I’m 5’7 and 170lbs. I wear a size medium shirt, size 8/10, chest 36C. The medium fits great. There are a lot of straps to adjust. I could probably size down and be fine. The chest armor is definitely not designed for women so keep that in mind for sizing for the ladies who purchase this.

This product is really good. Came in fast… I love this product. I love it protect all my upper body. And it will be useful….

Very nice looking. Lite weight and everything one may need to protect arms, chest and back from injury. Sadly, once I tried it on, I realized that the little fasteners that hold the bottom of the jacket together were broken. I needed it for tomorrow night.
