I bought the costume. Great quality (above expectations). Initially I was frustrated with the mask not fitting correctly. I put the headpiece on and fastened it under my chin. Mask too big and floated away from my face. I tried stitching it to tighten it. No success. Then went to reviews to see what others did. I say someone state that the velcro attachment does NOT go under chin but rather gets fastened BEHIND YOUR SKULL, under the hair. Game changer! It fit perfectly. Someone complained it got caught in hair while fastening it. Work around... put hair in a loose scrunchie until all set and remove it after headpiece is in place. GREAT COSTUME!!! Fit like a glove!

This costume is AMAZING but has some shortcomings. Sadly I returned it. The jumpsuit it really cute. The gloves, cape and belt really set the costume off. My main issue was with the mask wig combo hood. The mask wouldn't lay flat on my face-- it was like popped out off my face all weird. Second problem was the zipper. Not very strong. I was wearing the right size so it's not like I was busting at the seams but I was concerned the zipper could break and I'd be stuck with my butt hanging out all night. It's worth a shot to order this. I feel like some of the masks might fit better than others. I would've risked the zipper if the mask was right. The costume is that cute.

I was extremely impressed with this item. I hesitated to pay such a large amount for a Halloween costume but, given the other reviews, I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. The catsuit was of thin material and on par with what I've come to expect from catsuits in this price range. What I did not expect were the attached stirrups that prevent the bottoms of the leggings from riding up. This was an alteration I had planned on making myself. I was pleasantly surprised to note this detail had already been taken care of. The bat emblem on the chest is stitched on "pleather", not the printed on applique that I imagined it would be. The cape is of heavy satin that I ironed with a hot iron with no trouble at all. I've had capes so thin I was worried they would melt. Not so with this one.Given the other reviews, I had planned on cutting off the attached wig. On receipt of this costume, I was, again, pleasantly surprised. The partial wig attached to the mask is much heavier than I expected. It will need styling, as does any wig, right out of the box. Is the wig of a quality that can be worn as street wear every day? No, it is not. For this application it is more than acceptable.Initially I thought the belt was far larger than it should be, then I went to my reference photo and found the belt is intended to be worn around the hips, not the waist. It's still a tiny bit large for me, but the velcro closure can be moved. That being said, I am disappointed with the "pockets" on the utility belt. They are simply squares of yellow craft foam with no detail, glued to the belt. They would be challenging to remove without destroying the belt. All in all, this was a great purchase that, with a couple of very minor adjustments, will be perfect.

I have always wanted this costume , even as a child. I finally took the plunge. I read all the reviews before I bought and they were super helpful. Several small adjustments had to be made though. Per reviews , the zipper. Mine arrived with a broken zipper. But , I had read it would be a good Idea to get it replaced anyway. So I did . Then perfect. Also , per reviews Detaching the wig from the cowl . Yes , do this. It will fit your head so much better. The eye holes are a bit small, if you are decent with a scissor you can adjust them a bit . I bought a size large. I was looking for an extra large , but none were to be found. The large did fit me fine I also had to add an extra piece onto the belt to help it fit my waist , very easy , just a piece of elastic and added Velcro ( you don't see it under the cape anyway. YOU may also want to add more stitches to the capes hook and eye to help make sure it doesn't detach . Or you can add snaps. I just double sewed them down , easy fix You all may want to be careful when washing . I hand washed it and some of the purple did come off the suit , luckily most was under the gloves or on the back , so it doesn't really show . Other than those easily fixed things , I love this costume . I have worn it twice now and people love it . I got many folks coming up to me and complimenting me. It is extra special when kids come up and want to talk to Batgirl . If you all can do these easy fixes , to make adjustments, this costume is totally worth it
