I bought these bulbs because the description says "daylight like".. well unless the sun turned a cold blue recently these are not what I wanted or expected. I purposely took these pics to show the difference between the soft white and the cold blue light of the replacement bulbs that I received. BUYER BEWARE!

My wife uses an adjustable arm lamp that contains one of these circular flourescents and an incandescent bulb in the middle for sewing work. The flourescent stopped working a long time ago; she was bugging me for a replacement, and I had no idea where to find one. So, I finally pulled the flourescent out of the fixture to get its part number, looked it up on Amazon; immediately found this one, and ordered it.Oddly, when I put the old flourescent back in, it started working again. But it was pretty dirty and I thought it would be a bit brighter if I cleaned it up, and that we could just keep the new one on hand as a spare. Good idea ... bad execution. When I tried to take the bulb out again, one of the little spring clips that hold it in the fixture slipped, smacked the bulb and broke it. Sigh. No big deal, though ... had the replacement within two days; put it in with no problem; the lamp's now working good as new, and the wife is happy. Only time will tell if this replacement lasts anywhere near as long as the original (Made In Germany) did. The End.

The light arrived in 2 days in good condition. Instillation was easy with the instruction to plug it into the receptacle before placing it in the fixture. Very bright very white light which I love. I gave it 5 stars all the way around assuming the longevity is the same as I’ve experienced in the past.

This review is on the 12 inch lightI purchased this product at the end of February 2020. Arrived quickly and no problems with packaging. Installation easy and very pleased with lighting provided. It was installed in our Master bedroom closet.Light worked great until April 2021 when it stopped working with no warning.Looked at the warranty and it is only for 1 year.Says it should have up to 10,000 hours of use. Reducing this by half would still be 5,000 hours.Let's assume the light was used 3 hours per day. (Actual use may have been 1 hour per day and that is an unlikely high number)3 hours per day for 400 days is 1,200 hours.Not even close to what it should have had assuming it only worked for 1/2 the number of hours they say.Had also purchased a smaller 16 inch from same manufacturer at the same time and it also has stopped working.Very dissatisfied with both products and will not purchase again!Very dissatisfied with the product

I read the reviews and questions all about this light and made sure it would be the exact replacement that I needed. It stated that it was the same as to what I was needing. That was in fact, wrong. The bulb was much smaller than the one I was trying to replace. It plugged in but didn't fit in the fixture like the other bulb. So it is just sitting on the fixture cover, and the light will sometime disconnect and I will need to tap the fixture to have it come back on. Just double check size. But for 3 bucks and free shipping, I made it work,

I could have sworn that I had ordered one 8" and one 12" which is what I needed, but I received two 12". Neither one worked. They were both packaged well and the box was not damaged. I tried both and neither worked. One of them was cracked where you plug it in and they both made a noise when shook. Had to remain a couple of more days washing dishes in the dark until I could get to a store. My boyfriend thought it was on my end, but the lights I bought at the store, from a different company, work perfectly. Now I have to go through the trouble of shipping them back.

They’re not so bright that they’re blinding like the ones these are replacing but bright enough for a kitchen. I personally hate fluorescents but all of my ceiling lights in my my apartment have them so it is what it is. They seem to last quite a while, I’ve lived here for 3 years and this is the first time I’m replacing them, but I’m not sure of the brand etc. of the previous ones so I can’t say these will be the same. Easy to install so that’s nice. They don’t flicker either like the long fluorescents which would drive me nuts.

After 15 years the bulb in the ceiling fixture in the laundry room fizzled out. Could not find a replacement anywhere local, but found this bulb on Amazon. The ceiling light is the ONLY light in our laundry room, so I was really glad for Prime delivery. It’s hard to sort wet clothes in the dark. Bulb arrived today. The bulb installed easily and its a good, bright light. A bit cooler than its predecessor, but that’s fine with me. A+ transaction.

Arrived extremely quickly, was very well packed with other items in Amazon box. When I first installed this tube and turned it on, I was disappointed, thinking I had been duped, but I gave it a minute to warm up, and as I finalized the position and put the fixture cover in place, the bulb sprang to full intensity and proper light color. It seems to be as stated: a warm white, plenty of lumens output, as good as the Philips that it replaced. If it lasts six years like the Philips, I'll really be happy. For now, it seems like a winner. Can't beat it for the price I paid.

This was purchased to replace an original 20 watt lamp. This items is much dimer however, certainly not 20 watts, closer to 10 or 12 watts at most.

My grampa needed to replace his bulb. Unfortunately he couldn't find a replacement anywhere locally and was at the point where he was going to install a whole new light. This shipped to his house the next day and was an easy install - saved a lot of time and money. Very happy with it.

Great replacement bulb; however, the connector is slightly different shape than the light so it is not a 100% tight fit.

I like the fact that when I turn the light on I can see. "Yes I picked up my hammer and saw", said the blind man. It was easy to replace. Amazon was the easiest place for me to purchase the pair of lights (different sizes) that I needed.
