These work great!
We picked up some trash snails and they just kept reproducing I looked on line for a solution. They suggested snail traps. I had never heard of them. I ordered these and have removed hundreds of snails. Snail removal is a snap. Love this product.

Doesn't work on MTS, Ramshorns, nor Bladder
It's a cool design, but the 3 species of snail that I keep had absolutely no interest in it. I was baiting it with their favorite food, so there must be a flow problem or something that they can't smell it. Food spoils before any snails get close, and they don't want rotten food.

These suck. My fish went into them instead of the snails. Do not recommend. Waste of money.

These killed every single fish in a well established aquarium. Do not buy

I caught almost zero snails and the catcher doesn't sink very easily, and fish can knock it around
I used this product to try and help me catch some of the snails that are constantly breeding in my tank. I caught almost no snails, the catcher itself is extremely difficult to get to sink, and active fish will easily knock it around and flip it. Complete waste of time and money

These work and fast !!!
There are ALOT of negative Nancy comments on here so I’ll set it straight ,( these do not come with the bait but I used cat food and that seemed to work) within minutes the snails were filling the trap plus it came with a suction cup to keep it from floating , I’ll definitely buy these again to maintain my tanks !!!

Works great
These work extremely well. The picture shows the mix I use in the center. I place a screw on top of the food so the trap stays down. Overnight 20 small and medium snails are in the trap for disposal.

Could be better
I've used this for Malaysian snails and it seems to work when attached to a rock. The biggest issue is that it has 0 weight. So once in the tank it easily will float instead of sinking to the bottom. This really should be an easy fix as attaching a heavy resin to the base. If it wasn't for this flaw this product would be a homerun.
