President New Virginia - Magnetic Mount CB Radio Antenna with Adjustable Angled Whip, Easy to Install

I highly recommend the President Virginia fixed antenna. This is by far the best magnetic antenna I have found for my CB. Worked straight out the box with low SWR. Give it a try!!

Just received my President Virginia, installed it to my Subaru with a Cobra 25ltd NW. I checked my swr 1:1, 1:1.2 across the band. Got a radio check roughly 5miles away from me saying I was giving them 9lbs on their receive. Keep in mind that you compromise distance with this 1/4 wave antenna. You're not going to be Dx'ing across the country bearfoot unless you have a foot warmer 100watts max. Even then you may or may not get out, all depends on mother nature. This antenna is good for road trips, line of sight communication with other drivers on the road. Astecticly it looks good and it's not screaming cb in your car or truck. I have a nice placement of my radio due to lack of space in the console of my car. Overall it's a very good antenna for my application.

Works great can hear other drivers very clearly. Was told that transmission was clear as well. Don’t know the range but i am in the city and heavy traffic I would say about a mile or so. Magnet is very strong no fear of it flying off. Now build quality is okay. The antenna loosens up after a few days of it on my truck. The black plastic ring where the antenna meets the base just broke when tightening it down almost like shattering into pieces. I really do like the style a stealth of it. I may change it out to a lil Wilson if it loosens up again.

Paired with the presidente mini works perfectly. This is something that I use for my car. It's not really for chit chatting on the highway, but for when stuck in major traffic jams, I am able to hear and communicate with truckers.

It looks like original equipment, not like a CB antenna. That being said, it's shouldn't be expected to receive/transmit like a trucker's CB antenna. For casual, motorist use, it does a good job. Also, it can be easily unscrewed from its base for car washes and low-ceiling parking garages.

This antenna is mounted on the roof of my vehicle. Channels 19 through 40 are running swr's of 1.3:1 and less. However, channels 1 through 9 are running swr's starting at over 2.5:1, and drop as the frequency increases. Channels 11 is about where the lowest safe swr's begin. To summarize: the antenna is too short for the lower c.b. radio frequencies.

The magnet on the mount is very powerful, will not slide off. Reception and range is good. About 4 miles max with favorable conditions. I used it on my 4 wheeler, and liked it so much, that I bought one for my semi tractor day cab truck. The cable is long enough to go from the roof of the day cab ( mounted on the metal bracket behind the cab. ) to the dash, via the driver side window lining. I paired it to a cobra 19. Works great.

I put this on my 2021 venue and this thing is great I had a wilson 1000 and replaced it with this president Virginia CB antenna and u can believe it or not but I received and transmitted out farther than the Wilson and it comes pre tuned and the magnet is very strong all u have to do is plug it up and your talking I’ve had several people say that’s a CB antenna? But I was leery about the thin coax but it was better because now it don’t get pinched in the rear hatch. Love it love it. Go buy one this is by far the best antenna for the price and u won’t regret it
