Wonder Mat Non-Toxic 9 Pieces Extra Thick Foam Playmat for Baby

The pictures of this product are contradictory. Some show that they can be put together in different configurations, others show they have to be in a square. I bought two hoping that I could make a large rectangle or little cubes like a picture. Unfortunately all but on piece have a smooth side. Will be returning.

Bought these mats to keep at Grandma's house for play time. They are noticeably thicker than other play mats I have bought. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of thinking I could just get a couple of these and put them together to make one big mat and save some money as opposed to buying the larger 36 piece mat. I was WRONG. So.. don't be like me.

Nice but small.. my baby rolled twice on her back and she was already on the edge. I realized once I installed it that I can't add more pieces because of the borders.Other way it is thick as expected

I put these mat pieces under a rebounder (trampoline) that I use for lymph cleansing and bone strengthening. I don't connect the pieces; I just place a square under each leg while I am using it, and then pick them up and put them in the closet when I have finished my workout. I have hard wood and tile floors, no carpet, and did not want to loosen the tiles or boards with repeated jumping over the years. I also wanted something non-toxic. These are NOT recycled and therefore NON-TOXIC. If you are looking for eco or recycled materials, you are likely to get something TOXIC. They hold up very well under the trampoline, and I am a heavy woman. The mats absorb the shock. They are extremely firm, but I occasionally use one of the pieces as a knee pad when I am cleaning the baseboards. Could also be as a knee pad for gardening. They keep my knees comfortable.

I have to return these because for some reasons, these have a plastic/rubber odor to them.I ordered the 36 piece set 3 months ago and they were great with no odor. (odorless). I was extremely happy with the 36 piece. That's one reason why I chose Wonder Mat again.But this time, the 3 sets of 9 pieces I ordered did not live up to standard. Im going to return them and get the 36 piece set instead.Besides the odor, these mats are thick, durable, and protects the baby well. My boy fell heads down from sitting position and he gets up with no sign of pain.

Works for what I need however not as soft as I would have hoped

I bought this to add on to my larger set of Wonder Mats but this set has too many edges, which can't connect from all sides, making it difficult to expand the larger set I already had. Bummer.

I liked it so much that I went back and bought the large set to go in our living room! Our 8 month old is trying out her crawling and standing and this makes me feel so much better when I have her on the tile. I have had other foam mats in the past and they were not as thick as these and I was always disappointed - but I love these!
