The Best
This the best puzzle I have ever had the pleasure to put together. I have done many puzzles, but this is the top of the list as favorites go. Well made, great clarity of pieces and good size.

Dad's Shed 500 Piece Puzzle
I bought this puzzle for my 86 year old mother. I thought it might help her with some cognitive abilities but she showed little interest in it. The pieces are larger-sized which is one of the reasons I bought this particular puzzle, and the fact I thought the picture would be one she would have an interest it.However, though she worked very little on it, it gave us something to do while we were over at her house visiting. She would try to put some pieces together but they were almost always the wrong ones. But we still had fun. This puzzle was really hard to work and took us about 3 visits to finally finish. There are so many items in the picture that took extra time to figure out where what piece went where. I'm a shade and shape person so I rarely even look at the picture on the box, but everyone else had to keep looking at the picture to figure out where the pieces went. This picture is loaded with some great items from days of yore when ol' granddad had a shed out back of the house filled with all sorts of useful tools and items, some of which have obviously not been moved in many years. One piece was missing but we don't know if it was because we lost it somewhere (no dogs around this time to eat them) or it actually was missing from the get-go, but I guess we lost it somewhere. A very good quality puzzle that is a pleasure to work.

a good step up puzzle from a 250 piece... the pieces are very large which aides in the assembly process the picture is very nostalgic and as is the case with all puzzles you become very acquanted with the art... i measured and traced the outline, sorted out the edges and assembled them in the frame i drew... then just to get started i sorted out the windows in the upper right because they were very obvious and assembled them in the frame... although i always sort my puzzles by shape this puzzle is very easily done by visual cues... gather up the areas that are easiest to distinguish... after the windows i did the open door, then sort the shelf items and pile them in relative position... when you get to the benchs and the floor it will take some assembly by shape...i get confused when there is too much of a visual item like all the wood to seperate out the pieces... because of the nature of my puzzle area only one person could work on it at a time and my 82 year old mother and i worked shifts off and on during the day and completed it easily in one day.... although her eye sight is diminished she does much better than me with minor visual cues and slight variations of color... i have a tendency to not see the forest for the trees which is why i sort by shape and when i find i'm using the 'poke a puzzle piece' technique to ill effect i switch to finding a single piece by shape for a specific position... that technique takes longer but will often push you through when you start 'poking around'happy puzzling

Happy Puzzler
I have always loved jigsaw puzzles and recently decided to purchase a Ravensburger puzzle after I found (and put together) two of their puzzles that my in-laws had for their grandkids back in the '80s. I was trolling Amazon and found Dad's Shed which I immediately added to my cart. I started the puzzle by myself on our dining room table, thinking it would be a relaxing hobby for me, but didn't take long for my husband to try and find pieces whenever he walked by. Soon it became a fun project for the both of us. We finished it tonight after about a week. I read several reviews about one piece of the puzzle missing, so was a little worried that would happen to us. We got down to the last piece, and there were no more pieces....one was missing Oh no. But my sweet husband was hiding that last piece and gave it to me so I could complete the puzzle. So I'm here to say that Ravensburger makes an excellent puzzle. All of the pieces fit together so nicely and the pieces are thick and fit together perfectly. If you love puzzles, treat yourself to a Ravensburger.

Missing Pieces
I’ve bought a few Ravensburger Puzzles because of the unique pictures and details - also because the pieces are thick and actually “snap” together. This is the first puzzle purchase that I’ve been bummed over because of three missing pieces :( Still leaving four stars for the quality and picture…just disappointed that it’s not complete.

Challenging!
This is unlike any of the other Ravensburger puzzles that our family has put together. It was definitely the most difficult 500 piece puzzle. The images are not crisp and vibrant like most Ravensburger puzzles. The pieces fit perfectly and easily together but it took us at least 7 hours start to finish. This tested our marriage for damn sure!

Top Quality. Worth it.
Not embarrassed to admit that even though it’s only 500 pieces, this was quite a challenge, though absorbing and fun as well. Lots of monochromatic colors, lots of similarities between sections. So impressed with the quality of the artwork and the die-cut of the puzzle—pieces fit together perfectly, no frustration there. Gorgeous when complete.Ravensburger, with your premium fabrication and prices, could you not include an unobstructed copy of the finished puzzle to work from? Difficult to work from picture on box and annoying to try to guess what’s hidden by the overlays. Would be so helpful, especially when there’s more than one person working these at a time.
