Nice light to highlight that "Fifth Element" in your tank. Can you use it to grow bodacious buds in your closet? No..... But it will keep your greenie thing green in that shelf aquarium.

Like it so far after a week. It's decently bright at 5w via multiple LEDs and good for smaller tanks (or for more lamps on larger tank). Love how it captures ripples in water and throws them on plants and rocks in tank and on walls around. Color is common 6500K so fine for plants (though maybe not super optimal with special colors green, red, and blue bumps the picky pros are into). It's compact and simple. Note that there's no timer, dimming, nor gradual brightness when turning on or off. Your fish may thank you for more natural lighting setup, esp if they jump out when scared like bettas or other skittish types. Note also it's meant for rimless tanks and has a very narrow clamp so may not work on a rimmed tank with a lip meant for closing lid. The worst/least important thing is the huge twisty knob sticking far out of the base clamp. It protrudes prominently (see attached photos). It can be turned around to the cleaner side of the mount but that means the wire has to go down inside the tank then do a U-turn back up and out which is worse I guess. It's not a big deal, but it does erase some simplicity and elegance from an otherwise perfectly simple design.

If you get the one that changes colors. Every time it turns off and back on it will change its setting. So if you have it on a timer it will change evert time it turns back on.

Not bad for the money. Its bright but doesn't cover as much of an area as you would think. Its great for a fish bowl, but I wasn't able to attach it to the rim of my bowl since its curved. I just cut a peice peice of 1 inch corner guard and attached it to the wall like a shelf above the bowl. I can't touch it very much since it doesn't grip very well and moves easily.. Just be mindful that it does not work for round bowls. Other than that, if you have a square rimless tank it would fit perfect.

Worked for 3 months until it flickered out.
