I looked at several of these types of devices. I opted for this one mainly because it does not require using some form of hooks to hang from my steering wheel. I prefer not having my steering wheel scuffed up. Some of the others require the steering wheel to be turned so that it is upside down so that the hooks and braces fit properly. This one simply slides over the steering wheel via a lined pocket on the back of the case.I like that it has a strap on the back too in the event that you want to hang it over the headrest and use it in a back seat. It has a carrying handle when zipped closed, and you can simply use this thing as a laptop bag if you so choose. There’s a pocket on the back and storage places on the inside for papers, 2 or 3 movies, ink pen/marker slots, etc. It even has a water bottle or small cup holder, but it seems to be more geared towards a bottle of water. With a non-slip surface for your food or laptop, it’s an added benefit. I like the adjustable retaining straps that help keep a laptop at the desired level. It only lacks a mousepad. I prefer using a mouse with a laptop, so I just use my center console/armrest. It seems sturdy, but time will tell. It easily accommodates my 14” laptop. It’s lightweight too. It doesn’t take up much space to store in my truck or I can easily take it inside with me to continue work there.

I needed something to support my laptop on a commute and work. It worked perfectly on my lap and mouse pad included. It’s comfortable and somewhat sturdy. It’s also a great computer carrier on the go.

I mostly work out of my truck and was tired of having to twist my body and overextend my arms to reach my laptop in the passenger seat, so I decided to try this laptop tray. The product arrived on time and was exactly as described. The material seemed sturdy and I thought it was a great price. It folds tucks away easily behind the seat for the next time I need it. I adjusted the straps and slipped them over the wheel. I did have to move the seat back a little so the tray would lay flat. After adjusting the steering wheel down a tad, the tray provided the perfect distance between me and the laptop and much easier on my body.

One other steering wheel laptop desk doesn't work with two of my vehicles, which is why I went looking for a better solution.Portable and easy to store when not in use. Zip it up and it's basically flat and slides in anywhere I want to store it between uses.Easy to use and deploy. Once you get the straps adjusted for your car and arm length, it's literally just unzip it and slide it over the steering wheel... Ready to use.A few other conveniences... Places for a few pens, sticky notes, etc. I don't find myself using those, but others might appreciate having them.CONSSo far, nothing negative, to speak of. The initial adjustment of the straps took a few minutes. Moving to another car may require a different adjustment and a few minutes of set up effort. I would suggest that an arrangement of velcro straps would be quicker to adjust, but might have other deficiencies. So I'm fine with how it is now.

I love it, except stitching torn up after 2 uses. I didn't even have more weight on it than my hand holding a paper while writing. Stitching issue in a place that hasn't hindered my work, but I keep waiting for the final day already

Very sturdy. Works great in both front and back seats. I’m a home nurse and I’m in the car all day charting. Great for mobile office.
