**UPDATE** Still enjoy and recommend this lead however be careful as the cord ages and gets damaged over time. The rubber coating will split showing the wire underneath. It was fine for a while but now I noticed a VERY SHARP piece of the wire poking out as it cut my hand pretty badly today. It’s been almost exactly 1 year of daily outdoor use since I bought it. Will be buying a new one ASAP so my dog doesn’t get injured, glad I found it instead of her. This lead is perfect for my puppy! She’s a lab/GSD mix at 60lbs and this keeps her safely in our yard. We have a fence but it has multiple gaps throughout and I was so worried she would escape the yard and run into the road. I wrapped one end around the base of a tree and keep it just long enough so she can still run but not escape the yard! This way she is safe and secure to help ease my worries and she can still enjoy her zoomies in the yard!

Very durable. I use this in salt water to let my dogs run. Spray it off with fresh water after use and it will last. Clips work great and I will buy in a longer version for this season

I have a 110lbs new foundland "puppy" when I rescued her she was about a year and 80lbs. That's when I bought this. She's now almost 2 and 110lbs. She snapped it tonight. However! I live in Wisconsin, and I have a second dog also on a tieout that they get intertwined and winter elements. So for anyone who is looking for a solid lead, I recommend. Under the understanding that they will deteriorate over time. I will buy again as there is no other option for me in store for my big girl. Edit: I bought a second one in June and it snapped last night(Dec). It's been bitter cold and my 60lbs dog was on it thankfully and has a great recall. Unfortunately, I need to look for a different option. I have a 15lb lead from the same company and it's been fine for 2 years.

The clasps get stuck when too cold ... Just be sure it's secure.

Strong and tough great product

Good and strong cable. Our dog is about 60 lbs and holds just fine. Great quality for the price

Strong tie out for our dog. The length is great as it lets him some room to roam. The coating on the wire feels good and the clasp is large enough to get a firm grip to latch.

The cable itself is fine. Does what it’s supposed to do. Holds my dogs just fine. Purchased originally because you can twist the latch. My dogs have gotten loose from the regular clip on ones in the stores. The newer bone shaped clips on these ones that they switched to keep breaking. The original round clip hasn’t broken on me yet and it’s been a couple years since I purchased that one. I’ve had to replace my other dogs cable 4 times now because of the broken bone shaped clip.
