Hello, overtime you will see some wear on your rope from the teeth, You will see this happen on almost any Ascender. The drag going up isn't bad at all.

Q: says up to 11mm. i use 11.6mm static line. has anyone tried it with over 11mm line?

My practice rope in my basement is 11.6 mm. It worked as expected.
