I like this idea and design. But once I got it and read instructions…. Cannot use on glass, cannot use on porcelain, cannot use on normal mugs…. Well, except plastic or paper no other option. PLUS my plastic reusable cup cannot be used as bottom needs to be flat and this one has a sort of step. also, it doesn’t get as hot as I expected. But nice design.

This product had good reviews and thought to buy it because it looked great and at a decent price. When I received it, the packaging and product was at a high standard. It was when i put it on to test it, it took a long time to get to its maximum heat. When it eventually got hot my drink didn't stay warm but went cold at normal rate. Although it was quite hot to touch it had no impact on my drink but warmed the bottom of my mug slightly. Very disappointed

I was a little concerned about the negative reviews but my son was very keen to buy it as a gift for someone so we made the purchase. After having positive feedback from the recipient, he asked for one himself. Yes, its plastic and doesn't look much for the money but it really does work. It does look quite large but it is only the centre section that emits heat. It really does get very hot to the touch although will only keep your drink warm if you follow the instructions. You need a flat-bottomed cup with a diameter that matches the heated inner of the 'coaster'. My son tested it out using a jam-jar lid to melt chocolate! I would recommend.

Got this coaster for my friend at Xmas to use at her desk at work. I kept asking her but constantly got a vague response as to how it was. She finally told me it was pretty useless and wasn’t really any point plugging it in etc for about 5 minutes more warmth. Really disappointed as when you give something as a present you feel responsible if the product isn’t up to scratch!

Sadly it didn't work at all. It was plugged in for half an hour and didn't heat up at all. Unfortunately it was a gift so I couldn't even return it for an exchange or refund.
