I love vans slip-on checks. I've been wearing them for years. I am a woman and I wear them fairly frequently and I normally get about one year out of them before they become pretty dirty and start to fray. I normally stick with the classic black and white, which is why the dirt tends to show a lot more. However, even when I wear them out they work great as work shoes for doing home repair projects or painting. I have no complaints about the product and I don't mind replacing them annually because they are inexpensive and I get to try a new color. I fully anticipate wearing these as I age since they are so easy to slip on. No tying laces or bending over required - perfect to kids and the geriatric.
