Non Slip Rug Pads that Really Work
I have tried a few different non slip rug pads and this one actually works! I have runners and throw rugs on my hard wood floor and kitchen tile, and this placed under them keeps them in place. The rug pad comes as a big folded unit and you just measure out a portion that will fit slightly smaller than the rug and use regular scissors or a utility knife to cut your piece. It cuts easily and definitely "grabs' the floor and keeps my carpet in place.In an area with little traffic, you could probably get away with some strips placed under the edges of a smaller rug. I have dogs running through the house in addition to kids, so I have chosen to use non slip pads cut to almost the full size of the rugs and these work great in my high traffic areas.

Nice, really nice!
I am very happy with this, I bought it to cut and use for my bathroom rugs . Not because they slip but I wanted some padding.My bath rugs are good quality but I wanted them to feel more like my Costco bath rugs as they are the only rugs I have found that actually feel "plush" just that they only come in four colors. ( unless you want memory foam rugs and I don't) So I doubled this padding under my rugs and I am thrilled. Gives the added plushness I was looking for.And trust me this pad sticks to the floor! I have tile floors in my bathroom and this pad is not going anywhere. Much different than the padding Ihave gotten at Lowes. This pad is tighter and has more "bounce" I only hope it holds up long term. So.... I highly recommend this padding if you want to add a little plushness as well as one that won't slip.

Great product!
We use these rug pads for everything! My elderly dad wanted a black one for the back of his SUV so that things would not slide around and it had to be a dark color because white reflected onto his rear window. I was so happy to find this black one on Amazon and Daddy was so happy when I gave it to him! The piece was large enough that I was easily able to make two pads (one for me when I saw how good his worked!) and still have more than enough for a rug in the house. I used the scraps to make jar openers for the kitchen. I will definitely buy from this company again as I was very pleased with the quality and quick shipment of this item. So easy to order exactly what I want rather than run around to many different stores and still not find what I need! Thank you, QSM - whatever makes my dad happy makes me happy!

Pleased with purchase.
Unlike several reviews here - I did not get it free or a discount to try it. I needed a pad for my wool rug and seeing all the rave reviews, I bought this one. The material seems like a really nice quality, does seem just slightly oversized, as it sticks a little out beyond the edge of my rug, but it can be trimmed, so that's not really an issue. Seems to hold my rug in place and provides a nice bit of padding, as a bonus. All in all I'm pleased with this purchase.

It works!!!!!
I have tried other non-slip products, but none of them really worked. My rugs would slip all over the place, and the dogs were afraid to walk on the rugs because they would slip and make them fall.This product rocks!!!! I have a small rug inside my front door, and a runner in the hallway--both on my wood floors. I had to cut this to fit both, and there is plenty left over in case I need more. Since I put this under my rugs, there has been no slipping, my dogs are actually walking from room to room, and I'm not losing my balance as I did before when they would slip out from under me.I highly recommend this product!

DON’T BUY THIS RUG PAD!!! It stains the floor
After just a few months of using this rag pad, it left a pattern of marks on my 2 years old wood floor! I can not take away the marks on the floor and the company does not take any responsibility. They replied: “We cannot control what surface treatment or cleaning products you may have used on your floor before using our mat.” But I had actually not used any cleaning product...just wiped it with a humid cloth. The wood floor had a standard finishing.I strongly recommend that you don’t buy this product. It’s supposed to protect your floor and you end up risk ruining it and waisting hundreds of dollars to do a refinish.

Sticks to floor
When we moved to a new apartment recently that had different (coated parquet?) floors, we found almost immediately that these pads were sticking to the floor, leaving black spots that we had to scrape off. Terrible.

I love it, however I used it for something other ...
I love it, however I used it for something other than under a rug. I have a mattress and box spring where the mattress would slip off the box spring. I put the pad between them and now the mattress doesn't slip at all. I hope this gives others some idea as to it's other uses. Thanks.
