I used 5A Medium Ash Brown. It’s exactly what I have been looking for! Not too red, not too dark. The conditioner it came with left my hair very silky. The smell of the dye was a bit intense at times if I was holding hair close to my face but tolerable. The formula is a thinner consistency than most but that made it easier to apply in my opinion. I will be using this color/ formula from now on! (I took pictures in natural daylight)

I really wanted to like this tint, but I feel like the color was slightly off from the color that was on the box. I’m seeing it as more of like a reddish ash brown as opposed to just an ash brown, and I was really just wanting the ash brown. So if this color is something you’re looking for the color is great. I had color from a previous hair dye on my ends and then I had my natural hair at the roots (dark brown). It actually took really well all the way through so it’s really up to you on what you’re looking for. I hope you like it!

I had a light brown almost copper and this toned it down which I loved. Only thing is that the smell was so so strong it made me get a runny nose and tears. I felt like I was chopping onions. I’ve tried multiple boxed hair dyes in my lifetime but this smell was unbelievable.
