Highly recommend if you want to protect your dogs ears.
My dog cant handle load noises. The dryer is the worest. It calms in down when the dryer goes on him. The size is true. I have a 100 pound aussie he has a big head the large worked perfect. Protected his ears wonderful. Great price. Durable not cheaply made. Easy to just pop in a Bag and off to the groomers.

Actually helps calm my anxious pup!
I was skeptical at first, but the Happy Hoodie really surprised me. My dog gets super anxious during grooming and thunderstorms, and this simple little band made a big difference. As soon as I put it on, he instantly relaxed — no shaking or pacing like usual. It gently hugs his head and muffles the loud noises that usually freak him out. The material is soft, stretchy, and easy to wash, and it doesn’t bother her once it’s on. I also love that it keeps her ears dry when bathing and helps speed up drying time afterward. I bought the X-Large and it fits perfectly for my big boy without being too tight. It won’t be a miracle fix for every dog, but if your pet struggles with loud noises, grooming, or fireworks, it’s definitely worth trying. Simple idea, great results — I wish I’d found it sooner! 🐶💗

Amazing
For the simple design and the degree of skepticism that we had when placing this on our dog, it absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. Our 65lb pitbull terrier is terrified of any loud noises (thunder, garbage truck banging outside, bangs from the tv, fireworks, etc.) and will immediately run back to the bedroom to hide until the noises subside. This was how we actually ended up adopting her when she was 6 months old. She apparently took off on July 4th from wherever she was and was found in a rural area by a rescue agency, hungry and scared. We have tried to take her with us on July 4th outings ever since, but it was always panic and run away regardless of what we did to soothe her. We decided to try this device on her yesterday to see how she did. We took the advice on the instructions to work with her wearing it while it was calm. Each time, she seemed completely at ease and would fall asleep with it on. This year, we went to a concert venue where they would be having fireworks overhead. Before the main fireworks show started, there were other neighborhoods and individuals around us that were popping off their own personal fireworks, which were still loud enough to cause a substantial boom. As soon as she heard the first one, she stood up and started pacing around, rapidly looking for an escape route. We immediately placed the hoodie on her and she sat down, then eventually laid down even while fireworks were going on all around us. Simply amazing. I think she even fell asleep at one point. When the main fireworks came on, she sat up and was a bit shaky, but then laid back down but was a bit shaky so we eventually put her in the car with the hoodie on to not cause her too much distress. We could not be more impressed with how well this worked for her considering she typically would definitely not have tolerated the smaller fireworks, let alone most of the larger fireworks show. The quality of the hoodie is nice, thick and strong enough to be a bit snug but not constrictive in any way. For our pup, we purchased a L. The color is bright and vibrant. Overall, it's easy enough to stretch to get it in place but not too tight to where it is uncomfortable. It may not work for all dogs universally, but at the price point, it seems like it'd be worth a shot for those who have anxious dogs. Our other dog could not be any more opposite and is not scared of any noises at all. He sat through the entirety of the fireworks show. Pictures are of one of the trial runs at home and then one at the actual fireworks show. Great product, highly recommend.

Balance problem
We had high hopes for this to keep our small dog calm during thunderstorms and fire works. She was fine with having it on ... except that she would stand up and list to one side or fall over. It did seem to have a calming effect for the short time she had it on, but it seems to affect her balance and so we're not using it.

ABSOLUTELY LIFE-CHANGING!!!!!
Oh my goodness. I’m absolutely ASTONISHED, speechless, grateful beyond belief. The only regret I have is not finding this sooner!!!! I truly could not recommend it more. Both of my dogs have struggled with anxiety since they were puppies. One has had positive results with other remedies, but has still immensely struggled with storms, fireworks, vet visits. The other is extremely reactive, and it’s been defeating trying product after product without any relief whatsoever. UNTIL TODAY. Prescription medications did not help at all, Prozac had no effect after years of trial and error with adjunct therapies. Trazodone, Gabapentin, Benadryl had the opposite effect, causing paradoxical excitation. It’s been heartbreaking seeing him struggle, being on edge, jumpy, barking at every sound, scared terribly of day to day stressors, unable to relax. It’s been years researching for a solution and trying everything from medications, calming treats, pheromone spray/collars/plug-ins, positive reinforcement, training, anxiety vests, snuggle toys, distraction, etc. Nothing has calmed him, until now. When putting this on, I anticipated them trying to take it off/fighting it, but let me tell you - family members & I were all speechless. Both of my pups were immediately calm, fell into a deep REM sleep within 1 minute (not exaggerating). Seeing them both at ease, calm, and resting (let alone when fireworks are already starting for the holiday weekend), is truly incredible. Neither have batted an eye or reacted to any noises or movement. I cannot speak enough praises about this product. The quality, price point, comfort level, mobility, wearability - UNMATCHED. The relief and happiness I feel is overwhelming. I owe you WAY more than a 5 star review. THANK. YOU. from the bottom of my heart. I will be a lifelong customer.

What is this witchcraft sorcery/work of small canine world peace?
I have a 5 year old purebred male yorkie (about 8 lbs). In a few seconds I didn't even recognize his anxious little energy. He's very triggered by sudden loud noises, construction, vacuuming, knocking, yells, etc. You name it. He also has some separation anxiety since I raised him during the COVID era (pandemic pup) but now leave more often for school and work. I got the size small and slipped it on his head one afternoon. At first, he just.. froze. He didn't know what to do. He was kinda sitting stiff for a few minutes + head crooked and I was trying so hard not to burst into laughter.. God help me. This was the funniest thing I had ever seen. He soon was laying down in the same spot, still seeming a bit paralyzed. He is just dramatic, though. Anyways, it was very easy to put on, stays in place at least for us (even overnight), and his little ears are very easily covered. Putting it on him induced some sort of sedative effect to some degree. I just can't tell if this will be permanent. We've been using for a few days now (on and off) and it has definitely kept him "chill," but I cannot tell if he actually LIKES it. He doesn't try to take it off and it's not too tight. I am glad we got the size S though instead of XS because any tighter would feel like choking. His covered ears are are a lot less sensitive to sound and he just seems less "on edge," if you will. Again - for now I cannot tell if is just confused, being a dramatic king, or actually in peace. I'm inclined to say peace though because he does close his eyes quite rapidly whenever we put it on. He eventually caved in to walking around and even eating a treat with it on. Incredibly loud noises though still startle him, though (but no cure for that). Seems durable for on and off use, though if your pet has nails, they can easily scratch off some threads if attempting to remove from head.
