I Don't Want to Wash My Hands!

Cute story, my preschooler likes it. She's princess obsessed and doesn't always remember to wash her hands so this one resonated with her.

I bought this to read to my kindergartners at the start of this COVID-19 school year. It is a great, simple story that was interesting to them and made a good point.

I have been struggling to encourage my daughter to wash her hands after using the toilet. I borrowed a children's book of facts from the library, unfortunately after learning that she would get worms my daughter thought it was funny and for that reason she refused to wash her hands. Thankfully after only reading this book once to her it has worked. Personally I didn't think the story was great but my daughter does and that's all that matters. Would highly recommend to any parent that is struggling like I was.

Children love this story !

I used this book to help teach my Rainbow Unit the importance of handwashing. It counts as part of the first aid badge.
