COLES MACKEREL OLIVE OIL 4.4 oz

I recently got on the packaged sardine kick and saw mackeral packaged the same way. Well, of course, I was curious to try it. Needless to say, these were delicous!! I will definitely be ordering more!

Look for Wild, if not don't buy it, it's farmed. Good product, good nutrition.

I have never tasted mackerel before and I have eaten the other offerings from this brand. This was full of flavor and moist in the olive oil. I think they have the best canned fish on the market.

I INITIALLY PURCHASED THIS CAN OF WILD MACKEREL TO ADD TO MY DAILY NUTRITIONAL NEEDS. I RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT MACKEREL HAS MORE OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS THAN ANY OTHER FATTY FISH.MACKEREL TURNS OUT TO BE A GREAT SUBSTITUTE FOR SARDINES AND TUNA. COLE'S BRAND MACKEREL IS A GREAT BRAND. I BOUGHT SEVERAL MORE CANS FOR CONSUMPTION. I WOULD RECOMMEND COLE'S TO EVERYONE.

Flavorful. I understand that small young fish have had less time to accumulate mercury.

These are YUM. Very subtle flavor with delicious oil.

Simply put, Cole's makes the best canned Mackerel. No nasty fishy taste. Unfortunately, it is a bit pricey. Next time I will probably purchase Albacore tuna from a local grocers instead of ordering this online.

This was a fantastic product a few year ago that I would buy on a regular basis. The mackerel was mild, tender, and mostly all white meat. But, I've been less happy with it over the past two years. The last few tins that I recently bought have had a much stronger fishy flavor, a tough rubbery texture, and more dark meat. It's getting harder to find really high quality fish these days and it's even apparent in tins. Although, this is still probably a great choice from a nutritional standpoint.
