Operates at full speed, heats up after a minute of writing and then speed is reduced from 100MB/s to hovering 25MB/s. I only suggest it for the price and for making a occasional backup but the speed really puts it down.

Works exactly as expected. I use these to back up my back up of photos on my MacBook. With flash drives getting so cheap you can now afford to do this. Last year I used a 64GB and this year a 128 costs about the same. The 256s are already getting cheap. 512s are likely not far behind. I also use SanDisk SD cards and have had very good luck with them too. I have some that are several years old and been used dozens of times. All still work well. This is unlike my portable hard drives which now seem to fail regularly unlike 7-8 years ago when they cost more and never (almost) failed. Be sure you get USB 3 or faster. My last years 64GB was a USB 2 and way slower. These do get a bit hot when used. So far I have not had one fail because of that.

Ich habe mir den SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Stick mit 128 GB gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 130 MB/s ist wirklich beeindruckend und macht das Kopieren von Dateien, Fotos oder Videos richtig schnell. Im Vergleich zu älteren USB 2.0 Sticks merkt man deutlich den Unterschied. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass man mit der SanDisk Secure Access Software seine Daten mit einer 128 Bit AES Verschlüsselung schützen kann. So bleiben sensible Dateien sicher, was für mich ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Auch mit der Kompatibilität gab es keinerlei Probleme, der Stick funktioniert sowohl an meinem Laptop als auch an meinem Fernseher und Autoradio. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, das Design schlicht und robust. Trotz der kompakten Größe liegt der Stick gut in der Hand und wird beim Gebrauch nicht zu heiß. Fazit: Ein schneller, zuverlässiger und sicherer USB Stick mit viel Speicherplatz und toller Leistung. Ideal für alle, die große Datenmengen bequem und sicher speichern oder übertragen möchten.
